I recently purchased glasses from SmartBuyGlasses but shall never again do so. There is something wrong with the lens (I gave the correct prescription and they allegedly used it) and also the frame keeps falling off my face. I tried to return it but they said they used the proper prescription and the glasses was larger than previous pairs I purchased. There is a mandatory shipping fee of almost US$19 to return a US$ 52 pair of glasses. They refused to cover the cost of the return stating that it was their policy. I shall simply toss the glasses away and bear the loss but shall not be purchasing from them gain.
Don't trust this company, SmartBuyGlasses is a scammer company which demands confidential information, deprives their clients of anonymity, did not send my order more that a month after full payment, and refused to make a refund. All evidences and screenshots are attached below.
I placed initial order on Furla 2024/11/30. They sent it via DHL just to find out that DHL doesn't deliver to my main residence. They demanded my ID card photo, 3 of my signatures, Google link to the adress I want to ship and a photo of my house just to retrieve the order back from DHL. They failed to do so despite me providing them with what they've asked, so they proposed me to fetch another Furla from their warehouse in Hong Kong and to ship it to my mediator Meest Group in the USA 2024/12/15. I waited patiently, after what they informed me, that they noticed several orders to one adress (no wonder, a lot of people use Meest as a mediator) and they freezed my order until their inner investigation is done. They refused both to set time frames of investigation and to return my money and I was forced to live with severe miopia for a month without glasses, until I got money to buy specktacles in other company. Worst experience in my entire life.
Stay away from SmartBuyGlasses, they can't be trusted.

I experienced considerable frustration with SmartBuyGlasses after placing an order on July 19,2024 (Order No. US*******722G). Despite being reassured multiple times that the product was in stock and would be delivered promptly within 5-7 business days, the service was anything but reliable.
The company failed to communicate effectively; after the delivery deadline elapsed, I had to initiate multiple follow-ups. It was only then I was informed that the original frame I ordered had a defect and was unavailable, a fact that was only disclosed after the promised delivery period had ended.
Choosing a replacement frame did not alleviate the issues. The process was delayed again as the company requested further details to start manufacturing, indicating that my order hadn't even been processed yet.
This lack of professionalism and poor communication from SmartBuyGlasses has not only been a major inconvenience but also impacted my plans significantly, as the glasses were intended as a gift. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and service. I ordered an authentic pair of Tom Ford reading glasses with blue glare protection. Not only were my frames on sale but it was really easy to get my prescription done with them. I simply uploaded my prescription and every other tid bit requested was done online. My favorite feature was the virtual styler. Everyone knows trying on frames is really important before making the purchase. If you upload your picture you can do a virtual fit for all the frames they sell on their website. It's really cool. I definitely plan to do more shopping on this website in the future.
Absolutely reprehensible way of dealing with the customer. Continuous delay in processing the order, permanent deception of the customer. Repeatedly sent e-mails inquiring about the status are answered each time by a different person. I have the impression that there is an incredible chaos there. No telephone number for customer service.
They invited me to review, didn't like what I wrote, and had my review removed from Trustpilot - were not eager to resolve problems until they saw the review. Then hassled me, and finally got what they wanted as Trustpilot ditched my invited review. A legitimate company doesn't need to expend so much effort negating an honest review. Quality less than rivals - I've tried a few - and prescription not correctly created (or they didn't have proper knowledge of prisms and failed to ask questions). Price was double that of what I eventually received from another supplier. Avoid.

No problems with the product, delivery just takes really long since it's coming from Hong Kong
When I was choosing a new eyeglasses, I tried to find something on the internet, and the SmartBuyGlasses had the exact model that I wanted. Also, I sent so many e-mails for support in my purchase (how to make it properly to have a correct international purchase for myself), and they were very quick to answer me. The only issue was the long period to use my product (regarding to the shipment out o my country, and also in my country - 3 months waiting...). I think if you buy it in your country or somewhere nearby your country, it will took less time certainly.
My order arrived rather quicker than I expected, in less than 2 weeks. The glasses are clean, clear and seem to match my prescription.
Had entered presription, but was not copied well into the order. Now stuck with with useless glasses my little son cannot wear.
Would be nice if they would settle this but didnt do so so far

Absolutely horrible website.
Their phone number and everything imply that they operate in USA. However when you order smt - you learn that it was shipped from Hong Kong.
Websites states that they have easy returns blah-blah but then you learn that it cost 14.99 USD that you have to pay on top of your purchase to return smt from USA. Plus, after carefully reading all the fine print it seems that they will deduct more from the original amount paid cause they need to cover original shipment cost from HK to USA.
Given that during selection and checkout it does not clearly states that that's an international shipment and returns aren't free - it is very easy to fall for it and think that it will be a painless return.
NEVER AGAIN! Stay away from this company.

I started my process on 8/22/2023. I still have not received my glasses as of Saturday 9/23/2023 I understand it take a while because I have dealt with companies from China but I have never had to wait this this long (32 days). Also The tracking information is not in English. I did shat with someone but they did not find any tracking update since 9/12. During this time of waiting I had to buy another cheap pair from Glasses.com and was in less than 8days
To be honest, I am literally stunned to get this type of fantastic service for the amount I paid for 2 pairs of glasses. I lost my glasses last week and went to a few of the UK specs stores in London for urgent glasses. Most of them said they will need 7-10 days. Then I decided to order online. I received my glasses from SmartBuyGlasses in just 4 days! The quality of the glasses is excellent compared to the amount I paid and I would be even happy to pay 5 times more. I would definitely use this website for my future glasses and would recommend my friends as well. Thanks:)

My frames were too large. I requested a return and they sent me to a web page that wanted to charge me an additional $14.99 on my Visa Card.

I broke a pair of Lunor 234 A5 frames recently, these are $495 frames, so naturally I looked around the internet to find a deal. This site is the only one I could find with anything that was less than full price. Lunor frames are handcrafted in Germany and super high end, which means very difficult to replicate.
I ordered my replacement frames and was careful to read the processing times they have on their website, expecting that given those details and the general state of the current economy, it could take a month to get my items. If you order, you must keep your expectations in line, as this is certainly not a quick turnaround purchase.
When breaking my original frames, I'm the lenses miraculously remained unscathed. Upon arrival of the frames today, they came with a 100% legit Lunor case and cloth, along with what appears to be 100% legit frames. Compared my original (broken) frames to the new ones and if this site sells fake frames, it is the best damn fake I have ever seen.
*It is worth noting, I did not purchase the same color frames as my old, just the same style. So I couldn't verify the exact colors of all the components versus the originals I have, but the feel and quality seem exactly the same AND my lenses fit in the frames without any issues.
