Absolutely the WORST eCommerce company I have ever worked with. Have had an eCommerce store with them for over a year, didn't use it for a few months, and they blocked access to my store due to 'inactivity'. But they kept billing me every month for it. I tried to contact them through the only means possible - their online chatbot, and got ZERO RESULTS. (They shut down all live phone call options in 2024.)
Their email with the "secret code" to unlock my store? Never arrives, and prob never gets sent.
The story is much longer than this, but the bottom line is that they never responded, but happily kept billing me. The only option I had was to shut down my credit card account, which I have now done. I would NEVER recommend this company, to use as your eCommerce platform, ever.

Bought an exercise machine on 7/16- never arrived- emailed seller 3x with no response-. Went on Shopify chat to resolve issue- they did nothing

I placed an order with Blissta on April 2, and as of today, I still haven't received my item — nor have I received a refund. I emailed the company multiple times, but they never responded. I also contacted Shopify customer service twice, since Blissta uses their platform. Unfortunately, Shopify refused to help and just kept sending automated emails telling me to "contact the merchant." But I already tried that — and they ignored me. This is extremely frustrating and feels like a scam. I trusted both the seller and Shopify, but neither has taken responsibility. I've lost both time and money, and I would not recommend ordering from Blissta or trusting Shopify to protect you in such cases.
I have store for dropshipping at shopify and today i found my store closed and when asking what is the problem they replay me you instilled other applications and don't pay subscribe is it logic if i instilled applications and i didn't need it and remove it you need me pay for this
I never received what I ordered went back to look at the e-mail and the shop link no longer works and the review order does not work. They were sure fast to take my money. I have closed the card as this person is a complete scammer.
Shopify is a nightmare for business owners. They can hold your payouts without warning or reason, leaving you in the dark. Their support is one of the worst you'll encounter—completely useless, providing no answers or help. They'll take your money, but they won't care if they destroy the business you've worked so hard to build. Avoid Shopify if you value your livelihood.
I had an awful experience on Fiverr and feel it's only right to warn others about the risks. I hired a "specialist" to help set up and market my Shopify store, but from the very beginning, there were countless issues. The quality of work was far below professional standards, with low-quality images and numerous mistakes in the text. I reached out repeatedly, but my messages went unanswered or ignored, despite Fiverr claiming they support buyers.
After a week of trying to resolve things, I felt completely scammed and left without any recourse. Fiverr's support team was slow to respond and ultimately unhelpful. For anyone considering Fiverr for freelance services, beware—you may end up paying for low-quality work with little to no real support if something goes wrong.
Save your money and look elsewhere!
I've been with SHOPIFY as a paying customer for 11 years, and they used to be great. You could always reach support on the phone and everyone was super kind and helpful. Then they got too big and stopped caring about their customers (as often happens in the business world)...
Going through an incredibly frustrating situation right now and no one is helping, even though I've contacted their "Support" several times via chat (only option).
I've been locked out of my account and my store was taken offline, even though I PAID FOR AN ENTIRE YEAR (and have 5 months left). I've already filed a complaint with the BBB, and I am completely willing to take legal action if I have to.
THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE.

Do not use Shopify- I have used them for 4 years for my online retail store and they do NOT have your back. They just want their money. Many situations have shown that is the goal. There is no easy way to speak to anyone- their support online is not acceptable. It seems like SHOPIFY is easy but once you get going you will find out it is not worth it. They have lost quite a bit of money for my store. I just wish someone would have posted something like this when I was looking at platforms.

I subscribed to the 3 month trail & forgot about it. On May 26th they hit my card for $40 and remembered the subscription. I've tried to contact Support twice. Since there was nothing ever done with the shop I feel that I am due a refund.
Customer Support? They only have a chatbot to talk to, which cannot provide a refund, only direct you to articles that Shopify has written and keeps in a loop. The first time I waited on a live support agent for over an hour.
Now today I've tried again to talk to someone other than the chatbot. So far I've been waiting for over an hour this time as well. An agent logged onto the chat, didn't say anything and left. I can see the log in and out. What a damn shame that a person has to waste their time on such horrible customer service, from what is supposed to be a reputable company!
I'm filing a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission and kissing that $40 goodbye!

They keep putting my payouts on hold with no explanation. This is the second time, and it has been nearly 4 weeks with no reason given. They have a web-based customer support system that seems to just be a buffer so you can't speak to anyone directly, they only tell you that your issue is being handled with their highly trained specialists. It has caused me, and my family great harm and difficulties and I doubt I'll be able to stay open. My customers blame me for stealing money, when I can't use the money, they paid to fulfill their orders. This has been a very bad experience.
My son signed up for a trial account and deactivated his account before the trial was up but he still got charged for TWO months! When inquiring we found out that Shopify created a "fake" storefront on his behalf that he never even named, used, or had any products in. They refunded one month but refused to refund the other month because it was against their terms of service to provide refunds. There's no way to delete your credit card information once you put it in there, there's no business address listed anywhere, customer service is a joke they have no number you can only talk to somebody through chat. I would give zero stars if I could. There are numerous other people on the forums that complain about the same thing.
They are horrible in working with you I signed up for a trial I canceled it before trial was up well it didn't get canceled so they have been taking money from my account for months I have called 10 times just to get same instructions to deactivate my account well I have done this three times then today they say I have to pay them for what I have no clue before they will deactivate my account well I'm telling everyone I know to beware it's a nightmare
After 4 years of having my business with thousands of products on the Shopify platform, all I can say is that Shopify sucks. It does not offer any protection to merchants, it is terrible at merchant's services. They never put themselves in merchant's shoes to give a solution to problems, quite the opposite! One thing on what they're really good at is TO TAKE YOUR MONEY. They don't protect you if a customer scams your business. They will scam you together with the scammer. In other words, you are on your own. I'm closing my business, taking it somewhere else, they've caused me too much loss already.
There's been nothing but problems with this company! I will never and I mean ever go through them ever again. They shut down my account for no reason and I say that because they haven't given me a reason. And no my payouts are been taken because of my account they deactivated this company is a scam don't use!
Shopify advertises "Start Free Trial". Then charges $1 per month, then in month four, charges $39 per month. There is no notice of the price escalation. It's deceitful.
Such a big company but no customer service #. Been using it for 5 years now, increased my business over 500%, sales are now in the millions but no account manager or any help except chat. They can shut your business or freeze it whenever they want (I know because it has happened to me), even if what they say makes no sense and they CONTRADICT THEMSELVES in their emails. Takes 24 hours for them to email you back when you have a serious issue, and they still don't resolve it even when you do exactly what they say. My advice: avoid this company like the plague.

Answer: Google ads are integrated with shopify so it's pretty simple. You can list and sync products on eBay directly from your shopify store. However you also need an eBay account which is separate.
