Paperless Post offers a lovely alternative to traditional paper invites. They maintain some of the elegance of getting an nice invitation in the mail and are definitely better for the environment.
I created a wedding invite, they do not have a lot of choices with in the template, only 2 pages not enough pages for a wedding invite. I collected all my guest emails. The cost was an expensive amount $50. For only 80 emails. It has been 2 days since I sent the invite, it has not gone out. I have called *******234 no answer, and emailed them with no response Im asking for a full refund. I would not use them they seriously suck. Ashley

The payment system is awful.
NOT FREE.
The main page deliberately avoids any mention of the exorbitant cost.
It's a shock once one has put the time into the the invite.
But the WORST part by far is being scammed for "coins" to make one pay for more units than they needed.
So naturally we stole the design and pasted it into emails because the business plan is horrible when each customer is left dissatisfied.
I struggled for over an hour trying to figure out how to put my invitation list into the site to send the invites. Then after thinking I had my invitation designed properly with all the info on the invitation; the final invitation looked jumbled and some of the wording did not fit on the page so my information was left off. I sent it out in frustration just so my guests would get something and then I paid $30 for a badly designed invitation. Unless I have 2-3 hours to kill, I will not use this method again. Back to paper invites I go!
No mention of this not being free until your guest list and email addresses are entered and ready to send. What a waste of time. No wonder their reviews are horrible. I'd give zero stars if I could. Consumers beware. Avoid this deceptive company.
I spent time and money creating my sons birthday invite. Sent it out, got rsvps and then boom. I tried to track my rsvps and kept getting error messages. Finally logged in and my event was completely missing. Very annoyed that my guests can't click the link that was emailed to them, let alone, I used this site to track rsvps and now I'm at a loss.
I will never use your site again. Not only did my password stop working but half of the invites I sent out never got to the recipients. On top of that I couldn't log into each replay to see if they were accepting or not. They deceptively added there site to the bottom of Evite so you are tricked into thinking that that is who you are ordering from. I wasn't expecting to pay $2 for 6 invitations.
I spent over 5 hours trying to figure how to send invites after completing my personal invitations it just leads me to getting coins. This website is definitely a scam and I would like my money back ASAP.
Do not use this company unless you want to be embarrassed! I created what seem to be a simple graduation invitation for my sons high school graduation. Wrote it, proofed it, sent it only to find out they had my son's photo with an invitation to a guy named George's party with all of George's information from 1938. My guests texted me back laughing but I was embarrassed. Okay, it happens. Thought I made the mistake. Did not. Contacted their on line chat several times. Each revision we tried, it got some areas corrected and other areas were not. In the end, I sent an apology to my guest list and requested my MONEY BACK from the "Coin" purchase of $38. Next time, I'd written use an old fashioned hand written invitation. TERRIBLE SERVICE.

I ventured onto the site because it had online photo cards for my daughter's birthday, the first since she moved halfway across the country for grad school. The website was SO opaque and non-intuitive; several times I filled out the "recipient" box with my daughter's name, only to find MY name on the virtual envelope front of the sample. I tried and tried--scheduled, unscheduled and edited, but nothing worked, and then at some point I must have clicked something wrong because the card SENT! Not even with a "are you sure you want to send" message, it just SENT, a day early and completely NOT when I wanted it to go. Way to handle an important family event.
Whoever designed that website needs to never work in the field again. And then they have the gall to charge UNITS of 'coins', rather than just letting us pay for what we've bought. That seems a VERY shady practice, holding us hostage to the money we've paid for services and products we HAVEN'T received. It's *wrong*.
I'm disappointed and disgusted. I should have read some reviews first.

just a simple birthday card and they couldn't even make that process work
Spent over 20 minutes trying to send a card. Awful! Neither myself or younger daughter can work out how this works, and despite designing the card and trying to send it to my nephew, the website insists that we haven't selected the recipient's email address (which we have, several times over!). Asked the site to send ME a preview of the card so that I could at least see what would happen if it actually did send, and the card wouldn't open, so we have now given up and are going to find an easier site to navigate. A shame as the card looked quite good!
We apologize for the issues with sending. We’d love to troubleshoot with you directly if you reach out to us at help@paperlesspost.com.
I needed to send out 2 versions of my invitation, those in town and those out.
After painstakingly clicking the boxes of the first group, reviewing it at least 3 times, then trying to send, I was routed to BUY my coins first. Fine, did that and hit send at which time all the boxes reverted UNchecked and invites were sent TO EVERYONE. Now I have to contact the majority on the list to advise they are not invited to the restaurant and to await the Zoom link. I am already getting "Regrets" for the people who think they cannot attend at all. THANKS FOR THE EMBARRASSMENT AND EXTRA WORK PAPERLESS POST
We are so sorry for any sending issue with your event. After reading the summary of what happened, we would love to clarify if you were using two different drafts and the wrong version was sent to the wrong guests, or if we could help edit the card design. We will share with our product team to ensure each step is as clear as possible. Please let us know if we can help with anything else at help@paperlesspost.com.

I paid for the service and it was not delivered due to a bug on their system. Was told to ask apple to give me the money back... Amazing!
Hi there,
We apologize again for the initial confusion on our side. Please just let us know if we can help with the final sending for your event.
Warmly,
Paperless Post team
Have used this free e-vite website several times in the past and now realize why I no longer use it. It doesn't work. Period. Use this site only if you don't mind spending a considerable amount of time designing your invitation only to have it disappear (along with your entire guest list). Or, sometimes the guest list is there, but you get a big 404 error message where your carefully designed invitation used to be. Or vice versa. Unfortunately, with Paperless Post you get what you pay for.
I've unsubscribed numerous times but a female who called and literally threatened to report me to my "boss and pastor" for giving her a bad business review on the Better Business Bureau website keeps sending me ads for her horrible dating service through Paperless Post. I don't want to have any contact with someone who would threaten my employment because she doesn't do a good job in her own field, but this company is aiding her in harassing me.
Great designs, but for a program of this caliber, the functionality of the site is very very poor. It doesn't take much to structure/program a site that enables you to simply design, log details of event, invite then invite more guests. I wasted a good 15-20min trying find out how to invite more guests to our family event once I had already created the invitation. Not good enough!
First, my invitation listed the party as continuing from 5PM one day to 9PM the following day. When I tried to return to fix that, it removed all of my information and reverted to the sample information. Unknowingly, I emailed both invitations. When I wrote for help, I was given a correct invitation, except the website changed my address to the wrong village. All in all, I would say that the website needs better instructions or else it really doesn't work. And it's not free. I have paid for it in order to get a nicer invitation.
I can't send a simple message to the host without jumping through hoops including giving them access to my contacts!
A week after sending paperless post invites only a few had responded. When I contacted them they said that the invites wouldn't open and they just gave up...
Great looking front end and ridiculously bad functionality.
I'm trying to send out an online invite and have been wrestling with their address book. I uploaded 86 addresses and only 80 were in my address book. Not great, but solvable by manually adding them in. However, I can't. There's a bug that won't let me manually add an address or delete an address. KIND OF A PROBLEM.
Their support site is somewhat responsive, but their responses are cut/paste from a template and overall they are clueless.
I used paperless post for my printed wedding invitations. I chose what seemed to be a beautiful Oscar de la Renta design and was so excited about the whole thing. I received the invitations in about a week only to find out that they were very disappointing. The print quality was vey low. The floral design on the invitations looked all blurry and the coloring was off. It looked like the machine had ran out ink as it was printing. I am very very sad as I made the effort to order from paperless post all the way from Turkey thinking that they were a reliable company with top quality products.
Cannot reach them... glad I did not pay much
Had to have card sent to me because it was so bad
They could not cancel order...
Their technical support online is not good... Cannot Add Text when needed... There are better sites online
Paperlesspost.com is horrible! I sent out invitations for my son's birthday party. I found that it confused people by asking them to rsvp although they'd already responded. I have seen this when others have invited me to their events through paperlesspost.com, too. The worst was that I changed the time of the event two days after sending out the invitations, but paperless post did NOT alert guests of the time change. My guests arrived at the venue - which was not ready, and I was not there - two hours early. I was extremely embarrassed and worried that none of my kid's friends would return at the correct time. Luckily we have amazing friends and they all came back. Paperlesspost.com, however, sucks!
I specifically chose Paperlesspost because they allowed for a custom, square, 2-sided card which I wanted to design as my Save The Date. I wanted a full photo of me and my fiance on one side and the date and location on the other. After ordering countless samples, I finally decided on which coloring I liked best and ordered the full shipment of 110 printed cards. I received the order and the coloring was WAY off. It was incredibly light and the whole photo looked washed out. It was not comparable at ALL to the sample or the draft online. They were responsive, and said that there was a problem with the printer and that they would rush a re-print and overnight a new order to me. I received the order a few days later and it was also WAY off. This time the picture was SO dark you couldn't even see our eyes, our sockets just looked black. Again, I contacted them right away and they told me that they "can never guarantee 100% that your order is going to come out looking exactly like your sample or draft" which is, of course, complete BS. They said they would refund me, rush an order again, and overnight me a new order that was "as close as possible" to the the picture I had initially tried to order. A few days later I received the 3RD shipment of the Save The Dates, and of course, they were still wrong. I ended up having to send them anyway because I was already so late in my mailing timeline because of this whole process. It was a relief to be done with the whole process and to get them out in the mail. Then, yesterday, I start getting text messages from friends and family that they'd received my Save The Date, only to see in a few of their pictures that the black envelope liner had completely bled onto the white backing of the card (aka the side that had the date and location on it). At that point, I just wanted to crawl into a hole and never come out. The fact that they refunded me means nothing. I would have rather paid 3x the price for what I actually wanted.
Paperless Post, a previously wonderful site for sending classy online greeting cards, has gone down to the bottom of the heap in my estimation. Poor customer service when you have a question (IF they actually read your query, they tend to send a stock answer that is not relevant)
More importantly, it seems they don't even know what is going on in their own website - This year I sent out 600 holiday cards. In their admin section of the site they ask you to give a PRIVATE title to your card, for your own reference and not to be seen by the readers - OOPS! Wrong. I entered the behind-the-scenes name "for my reference only" and sent out 600 CARDS that unfortunately are entitled "xmas2013non-weddingmailinglist" They put that private information as the subject header. How embarrassing.
So... I would not recommend them, ever.
