Paid $69 for Microsoft Office for MAC for which Mashable gives a code to download from Microsoft; but when you go to download from Microsoft website, the program won't open to use. When you ask for help, you get double talk & no help, denying the problem is due to their product! I finally blocked their return to my computers as they are basic scammers telling 1/2 truths
The only thing I noticed about this site so far is they like to push soft porn like schoolgirl upskirt ads and other stuff that is as sexualized as possible. They give the impression of being a totally immoral Communist Chinese scam site. I would NEVER buy anything from this place. It oozes sleaze and from what I have seen of other reviews I know I'm right.
Don't buy the BirdBike ebike from Mashable (or elsewhere). My ebike stopped working after less than one month of use, but a few days after the one month refund limitation. Their customer service refuses to refund the ebike and instead wants to send me parts for me to take to a shop to get fixed. I have no way to commute to work other than Uber or bus now. The BirdBike ebike is defective. I wish I had spent more on a reliable ebike from a reputable company.
Bought what was supposed to be a refurbished apple product. It was still signed in to the previous owners Apple ID which cannot be bypassed. Defective. Garbage and is also old and cannot do updates.
Back and forth emails and complaints or credit agency. Mailed it back. It's useless. Out of way over a hundred dollars plus shipping and handling to return it. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. WILL FURTHER REPORT IT SOON TO ANOTHER AGENCY IF NOT GRANTED A FULL REFUND..
I bought a code for Microsoft Office professional, the code turned out to be useless, I sent multiple emails and all i got was an automated response, also there is no phone support which makes this site seem so much more sketchy.
Avoid buying from them at all costs. Not only did they sell me a non functioning 3 in 1 switch dock, they refused to acknowledge that they sold me a faulty product. When contacting customer support, all they did was give me the run around, claiming the product worked fine and was simply "plugged in wrong" (it is literallyimpossible to plug an hdmi cable in upside down, while usb-c doesn't need a specific orientation, even then, I tried both ways to prove it wasn't plugged in "wrong"), refusing to send me another or refund my money. Even worse, the employee intentionally misnamed me, and when called out on it and their lies, he started to actively antagonize and mock, sending an entire paragraph that was basically a faux letter to the merchant basically mocking me and calling me a liar. Overall, I cannot stress enough how much you need to avoid this site and their callously unprofessional customer service employees.
My 11" MacBook Air arrived in 3 business days as promised. It is in super condition and I am typing on it now. Mashable sold me a refurbished MacBook Air this is as described at a good price.
I bought a drone from Mashable website and what I received was totally different than what was describe and pictured.
I tried to return but set all these impossible rules in place to make it very difficult to return.
Never buying off Mashable website again!
Th e service never worked. Not any type of file, not any browser. I have disputed my purchases and I hope I can get my money back.
I found upon installing the software, it wouldn't load on my computers do to the licenses had already been used. I purchased two licenses for two computers. I emailed Mashable and we emailed back and forth at least 26 days and they refused to refund my money. I got my credit card company involved and they got my purchase price refunded within a few days.
I feel that Microsoft was not in the wrong. I feel that Mashable was selling the same product to other buyers. I can't prove it. However, Mashable received screen shots proving my point. The customer service rep. Asked for more information that I couldn't provide because I couldn't get past the installation procedure. The additional information that was needed by Mashable was "for their records". See other reviews of this type. For example, the one from Ivan B. Dated September 28,2021.
I have no confidence in purchasing from this company.
I bought an Ipad that I decided to return. Per their website, I knew they would deduct shipping. They did. The shipping to me was $3.30. The return shipping via USPS was $76.51. When i inquired this is the line they gave me. "Return shipping costs are calculated based on the weight and dimensions of the product(s) being returned. This cost is automated by the system and is unable to be altered or edited. Sincerest apologies for any inconvenience or misunderstanding." Draw your own conclusion. Online ripoff?
Tried to purchase a Microsoft Office license, it was "declined" but I was still charged. Apparently due to a influx of requests to their support (gee what a shock) it seems like there are delays on hearing back. So they basically just took my money. I have no order number, no confirmation, and certainly no product, just money taken out of my account. So until I get what I paid for, or a refund, I'm going to try and let as many people as possible know that it's possible you'll just get your money taken from this site.
They offer some legit courses/subscriptions, but when you check out, they will add on some bundle that you might not even notice (since the total at the time is correct). Then, a couple weeks later, a mystery charge will appear, and you have all sorts of services you didn't want or need.
I ordered a smartwatch and the additional one year warranty. It arrived as a complete DUD. It will not charge, it will not power on. There is no customer service help enclosed with the watch or on the box. It does tell you to download the app also produced by the manufacturer. THAT'S WHERE THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS ARE. So many people with my exact problem - a DUD. Mashable's response? Follow the enclosed directions for return (THEY DON'T WORK) and I must pay return shipping. Returning shipping for a dud that won't turn on? This is a scam perpetuated by Mashable. I have filed a scam complaint with Capital One.
I immediately knew there was a problem when I googled "top standup streaming" and got a list from Mashable that listed 27 woke and unfunny people such as Michelle Wolf and Jim Gaffigan while omitting Dave Chappelle. Give me a damn break. That's the funniest thing I've seen on the internet today. Obviously, their lists are propaganda, that is, they are trying to sell some ideal and aren't actually interested in any type of objective accuracy. I will never regard anything I see from them again.
Amy-Rae Turner's article is a poorly written disgrace to English grammar. Her Mashable article "11 free online writing courses" cannot seem to grasp the use of the word good, especially as it compares to the word well. "... Write Real Good?" "Write Gooderer?" Pitiful.
Is this Mashable's best?

It has been about a month since I ordered from them, and I realized I hadn't received my product yet. Went digging through my emails to find a confirmation email from them or a tracking number, and noticed I had never received one. They did charge me $35 tho, which I'm now realizing is a lost cause based off of other reviews on here. Glad it wasn't more than that, but wow what a terrible awful dirty company. How they're still able to grift like this is absolutely amazing to me. I've learned my lesson.
I ordered 15 bottles of wine after over two months, no wine no refund keep getting to unattended websites.
I purchased a drone and wanted to cancel the order... only got an email with a link to fill in... I did this several times with no confirmation. I received the product 4 weeks later and still unable to contact the company to return the item. Terrible business practices! NEVER AGAIN!
Answer: I've been sitting in a lawn chair because I'm on disability and couldn't afford a couch. I thought I was getting a good deal to purchase one Now I am still without a couch I'm also out of my money. How do I get my funds back?
