I bought a voucher for helicopter flight, and flight was cancelled few times by merchant, but it did extend my vouchers expiry date. But when I try to book flight again, merchant no more accepts this voucher from this company. As many times I did write to living social about this problem, got no reply. No refund no nothing. Dont buy from this company, as you can be fooled, and only will loose your money.

Purchased AeroPress Inspired Manual Coffee Press
From Obero International Ltd.
And just received part of the Components with open damaged box.
Which is make it useless and not fit for purpose.
I contacted the customer service and they promised to
Send replacement and after that they stoped responding to my emails
I'd give a zero star of I could. I bought a voucher for a 1 night stay in an hotel. The voucher it's impossible to redeem and I have been trying with two different phones one computer desktop and every possible browser on it. It simply doesn't work. The hotel won't accept my booking even if showed them the confirmation because they said they can't access the money if the voucher isn't activated. I tried to use living social refund page, but "strangely is unavailable at the moment".
Stay away from this scammers.
I have never had a problem with them. Sometimes they have great deals on technology. I will continue to use them.
In my opinion this Web site is designed to just keep you from getting what you ordered, I ordered 2 tracker tags for my luggage, never came. Lost I guess, go figure. But when I got my email saying my money was accepted and order accepted, I am told 3 weeks later I have a voucher which their Web site wouldn't let me redeem. Please use another website or at least use PayPal, got money back overnight with them, says a lot for that company. Keep away please
I ordered wireless hair curler 8 days ago
26 50.
Nothing. No tracking number or confirmation of purchase whatsoever.
Then yesterday they demanded a further £4.99, which I paid.
Still nothing
Accidentally typed in the wrong refund amount. 6 99 instead of 26 00.
Within 5 minutes PayPal sent the 6 99 refund from them.
Absolute crooks! Please stay away.
Tip for consumers:
Stay away
I've been trying to access my living social account and paid vouchers for a week. Every time I try to access app I see a stupid spacecat cartoon saying Groupon is unavailable. In my opinion this is criminal fraud and theft. Taking my money months ago for a $40 voucher and now wanting to refund $20. UNBELIEVABLE!

Beware of what living social, aka groupon, has become
I bought an electric blanket through Living social's site. On their site, they had a misleading picture of it being used as a throw blanket, however when it arrived I discovered that it was an underblanket for a bed, which is unsafe to use as a throw blanket. It was not described as an underblanket and there were no pictures showing it being used in this way. When i contacted their customer service, they heard my complaint and then declared the issue resolved without actually responding to or doing anything about my complaint. When I got in contact again they said that they would email the company who actually makes and sells them (who did not have a misleading picture, but instead a picture of the blanket folded up and not being used in any way). When that company replied and made the same point as above, I contacted Living social again who ignored my email. At the time of purchase they also charged me for a year of Living Social VIP, despite me not wanting or ordering it
I received 140e waller credit and am.unable to use it. Despite doing everything correctly I am 9 days in touch with their customer services team over email and WhatsApp. I've sent so many explanations and screenshots and every 24 /48 hours I get a new person sending me a generic list of steps on how to pay for a deal. Effectively I'm unable to use the credit which was a reimbursement of money I had spent but not used on a voucher so it's my own money.
A manager called Nigel Drake is in touch on email and even getting the same drivel from him. They're no doubt a complete farce of a company and I'm beyond shocked at how they treat customers. I've been using Living Social for years. I'll never spend another cent with them
Tip for consumers:
Please avoid them

I purchased tickets to the fair where there are celebrity concerts. After I bought the tickets, they sent me an email notifying me they had updated the description to exclude the concerts. In this case they were re-branding a Groupon offer but without the Groupon customer service. Lesson learned: if they have a deal you are interested, search the web first for the source of the deal and buy direct instead of getting screwed.
Terrible customer service. I spent €80 plus and haven't received any of the goods. Livingsocial tell you to contact the merchants directly and I'm sure they know it's impossible for customers to get through to any of those companies. No comeback with livingsocial once you spend the money they don't care what happens after that. Wipe your arse with your money at least you'd know where it went
Tip for consumers:
Yes shop on Amazon instead

Ordered goods. Only half order delivered. Have tried several times to contact via emails. But keep getting sent back saying email doesn't exist. Received initial email stating goods delivered. Money taken. Can anyone help?
I recently bought 3 items from Living Social, which it turns out are part of Wowcher. All are disappointing including one item which is shown as floor length on photos of adults but is only knee length, and bleeds fluff, but despite emailing them and filling in their customer satisfaction survey (giving very low scores and explaining why) no one has replied to my email or contacted me. I now see the terms and conditions are that I can get a refund and buy other Living Social items with it - but I have no confidence in their quality or customer service.

Dreadful company that I will never deal with again - appalling - avoid. Tried to buy a charging radio clock and did not understand the coupon system - customer service refuse to help even though the clock is still available - really? So I'm writing the money off and will join the majority of people on this review site that do not have a good word to say about a Living Social - a lesson to me to check reviews first - over 1000 people can't be wrong!
Ordered good vis Living Social. Never received and a total nightmare trying to contact living Social to get a refund. I was able to contact living social in US and Canada but not UK. I wonder why. Simple my goods or refund. I contacted the alleged supplier but they have no knowledge. Also used living Social to book hotel now a few days I'm told the dates are not available total shambles of a company.
Tip for consumers:
Do not use go direct to hotel and don’t order goods.

Ordered some plants. Paid £16.97 via PayPal. Never arrived. A week later I got an email stating 'your account has been credited £7.99'. At no point did they tell me my order had been cancelled their end. And I'm left wondering what's going on and where is the rest of my money? Phone number isn't manned (just a recorded message about coronavirus- over 2 years on?…that old chestnut? Give me a break- other companies have been answering phones for well over a year), emails bounce back and contact via WhatsApp seems to be a long winded negotiation on how much of MY money I can get refunded and how long it will take. I will NEVER use these scammers again. No plants and still no refund of any of my money. Opening a dispute via PayPal. Buyer beware.
Tip for consumers:
Avoid, they take your money, don’t deliver and then don’t answer the phone or emails when you ask for a refund.

Made a mattress purchase on 5/2/2020, was informed ship date 5/10-5/15. That Changed to 5/21-5/28, I've been unable to contact anyone involving the purchase, have had no communication with vendor nor could I get the info to do so. The LivingSocial web site has only listed order being processed since 5/11, no details, no progress, no communication. Use Living Social at your own risk, these people are invisible with no regard to the consumer.
Living Social send me emails everyday I unsubscribe but still they contact me daily. Until I want a refund for a service which I paid but the valid Wowcher was refused by vendor. Then they promise to contact me in 48 hours a month later and still no satisfaction. A WASTE OF MONEY.

Buy something and if you don't redeem it by a certain date, lose your money.
Redeem something and the merchant goes out of business lose your money.
Fight because you redeemed something, you have an email confirming it's on its way, merchant goes out of business, they deny you redeemed it, lose your money!
Usually the products are $#*!ty rip offs!
Win win for them, lose lose for you.
Avoid!
I bought three seater garden swing last year. Order came on time and in great condition. I'm very happy with my purchase and quality.

The consumer must pay for the voucher upfront, and the voucher generally must be used within a specified time period or it cannot be redeemed.
