This company is unethical and was involved in FRAUD. My bank would not honor my purchase with them and the reason they gave me is FRAUD. Kitco still charged me a fee after harassing me all week. Not sure what happened to this company. Buyers Beware ordering from them. They are international and can't be trusted. This comes directly from my bank.
I sold silver to Kitco. A service was supposed to pick up my package and send it - they never came. Kitco was supposed to take four days to process my check after receiving the silver - they took 43. I described some of the commemorative bars by their weight, mint, name of series, and date of issue - Kitco made two deductions from my payment totaling $1,500 because the bars "weren't what they were expecting." I wonder if that would have happened had the spot price for silver gone up instead of down in the time since I "locked-in" my price? Two Kitco reps told me they'd research my transaction and get back to me the same day - neither did. This entire ordeal has been shady and amateurish.
Terrible place, i ordered something, plain to see, the order looked correct, i had selected the correct items. When the order arrived a month later it is something cheaper that i have no use for at all and they claim it is what i ordered, Anyone can see it is not, does not match the order but they try to claim it is equivalent. It is an undesirable cheap substitute that does me no good and not at all satisfactory. They had legal troubles in the past and don't appear to have changed. Save yourself and your money, don't go there!
I don't have too much to complain from them besides the fact that they have to follow strange rules and every time I send them money to purchase their product I have to call back and confirm with some questions. It is just annoying and I understand they just have to be in compliance but still...
On an opposite looks like the company is having good background within the gold bugs community and people recommend their vaultchain for gold and silver.
I ordered on kitco and transferred money only to get a notice hours later that the shipping fees they charged when i did the order was just an estimation and it was not clear at all during the order so they sent me an email saying that the shipping fees are going to be much higher even compare to other sites their fees of international shipping is super high so i had argued that i wanted to cancel all and i wouldn't agree if their site wasn't so misleading they hardly wanted after hours of arguments to see my point and hardly agreed not to fine me for canceling... ill never order from them again..

I made several purchases from here until I found another source with better pricing and very fair shipping costs.

Kitco is fraud they keep your cash frozen for 5-6 weeks with out any valid reason frozen saying they are working on reviewing your account!
I read articals about the Market prices thats it. I never bought from Kitco. I would think they would be a trusted company.
