Working with Jaiye at It's Just Lunch has been a very positive experience so far. Although I have only had a short experience with the company and there is still more for me to review over time, Jaiye has already stood out in the process. He takes the time to listen to my preferences, understands what I'm looking for, and communicates in a warm, thoughtful, and professional manner. His approach feels intentional, and I appreciate that he checks in, provides updates, and makes me feel supported throughout the matchmaking process.

I first joined IJL 10 months ago. I enjoyed the on boarding process with Elizabeth as I was excited to get started with my next phase in life. I must admit that's where the fun stopped. After dealing with my first date advisor. I felt as though she wasn't listening to my concerns or inquiries, very mechanical approach, which I did not appreciate.
I then received a call from Lisa indicating she is my new date advisor. Lisa spent time getting to know me ask questions as to my wants and needs suddenly my dating experience changed for the better and I was excited again dealing with IjL.
After every date, Lisa would follow up with me and we will talk about it.
I highly recommend Lisa.

Finding a life partner requires lots of faith and determination tempered with patience. Relationships can be complicated and finding a place to begin is also complicated. I began this process with the words of a great University Basketball Coach who was also renowned as an inspirational public speaker, Mr. Jimmy Valvano who said near the end of his battle with cancer, "Never give up Never give up." Finding a life partner requires that same belief. I believe it also begins with Its Just Lunch.

I have worked with two great ladies at It's Just Lunch: Lisa and Catherine. They really take the time to get to know your likes/dislikes and work hard to find you a match. They make it easy by setting up everything once you and your potential match decide you want to meet. This is a much better way to meet someone over internet dating. Let the pros do their thing and find you the perfect love connection.

I have been in It's Just Lunch for 8 months and have gone on 1 date. I declined only 1 other date. Most accounts seem to be on hold. I appreciate that my matchmaker is selective in who he matches me with. Better communication would be helpful when an account is on hold instead of wondering what happened with a potential date you thought was being scheduled. Also follow up after a date to discuss the form answers would be appreciated. I also am curious as to the pool of men in the age range I'm looking for but no one could give me an approximating of this.

My Experience with It's Just Lunch I've been using It's Just Lunch with the hope of meeting someone special through their matchmaking service. As a man looking to be matched with women who share my interests and values, I was optimistic at first. I made it clear from the start what I was looking for—someone younger, with certain qualities and physical preferences. I even provided photos and detailed information about myself. Unfortunately, the matches I've received so far haven't aligned with what I've asked for. It often feels like the matchmakers are just trying to meet a quota, rather than genuinely considering the preferences I've shared. None of the matches have been close to what I would consider a good fit, which has been disappointing. That said, my most recent matchmaker, Lisa, has been excellent in terms of communication and professionalism. She seems to be trying harder than the others to understand what I'm looking for. However, despite her efforts, I still haven't been matched with anyone I'm interested in going on a date with. Overall, while I appreciate the concept behind It's Just Lunch, my experience so far hasn't lived up to my expectations. I'm still hopeful things might improve, but up until now, I've been let down by the service. Jack ⸻
