The company enjoys a solid reputation for its extensive coverage and reliable resources in the gaming community, with many customers appreciating its timely updates and engaging content. However, concerns have emerged regarding the intrusive advertising policy, which detracts from the user experience, and a perceived decline in the quality of game reviews, leading some to question the integrity of their ratings. While customer service experiences are generally positive, issues such as excessive promotional emails and occasional delivery delays have been noted. Overall, the company must address these criticisms to enhance customer satisfaction and maintain its standing in the industry.

My favorite thing about this site is their extensive coverage of different gaming platforms and devices. Content are concise and straight to the point. It's nice how they're always up to trend with recent releases of games, movies, and other entertainment.
As a gamer, I'm impressed by IGN's capability to deliver consistent reliable resources for the gaming community. The video and podcast also adds a unique element to what they cater because not every gaming news site have these features. I do hope that they improve the loading speed on some of their pages because it may take some time to load.
Loved ign, but over the last 5 years their ad policy has become the most intrusive in the gaming industry, so much that u cannot even scroll down the page without it stuttering, reloading, ads auto playing. It's basically greed, if u need that many ads to keep going, ruining your customer experience, then hey, lower your outgoings/employees/greedy shareholders etc so you can deliver a half decent service. Most of the decent reviewers have lefts it won't hurt the business if you let a lot of them go. But hey, greed will always come first, especially for American companies
This is a great and trusted resource where I can find useful information related to games and stuff like this.
IGN is one of my go to places for game-related information, reviews and trailers. However, I think they should just stick to game-related stuff and step away from movie information and reviews. If I want to read movie reviews or information on movies, I will go to IMDb. Anyway, overall, IGN is a good website to visit.
It's a pretty good and entertaining place to check up on to stay up to date with the latest news in the gaming world. They also have some fun content on their youtube channels and in other social media.
I watch their reviews, but I never trust the score. I dont think they are unbiased at all. The only games they dare to give low scores is indies not published by any major publisher.
IGN has been there for ever. Every information the gamer needs can be found here. I receive news from them monthly on games to preorder.
I go usually for walkthroughs (their wiki) and sometimes their top or best 10-25 games to decide what to get.
The walkthrough are helpful and have good tips. I benefit from the site.
If you really look at them, practically EVERY popular triple A game has top scores with little to no explanation on the "why." If this is not already apparent with the newest games, then ultimately, you must not care about the game's actual content. This is not to say that they MIGHT be good, and no one is saying these games can't be enjoyable, but a game isn't "Great" or a "Masterpiece" because it's just been released or "everyone loves it." Even Undertale was rated "10 a Masterpiece" and if you've played it or even watched it, you might understand why this is an overblown exaggeration of the experience itself. Ultimately, I would use it as a tool to help compare with other opinions on the media as well (good and bad, if you aren't doing that already).
Tl; dr Please be wary of bias =]
Back in the day, IGN was one of the good video game review sites, but now, it's nothing more than a joke. The reviews these days are horrible, as IGN will give good ratings to Call Of Duty games while any game involving Sonic The Hedgehog gets a bad review. One Kirby game got a low score because of the complaint about the campaign being short (which is kind of expected from a Kirby game). This is not a site for those looking for honest reviews.
Game reviews are just so bad across the board and IGN is just the epitome of it all as they seem to rate games slightly higher than everyone else while being the most known. There's only a few people like Jim Sterling that even properly review games. Even Yahtzee's reviews (which really aren't reviews) have more credence than most professional reviews.
Their score system is just simply bad. Every second game gets 9/10, even the mediocre ones. I read their articles from time to time but nothing more.
The best channel for gaming news. Always look. All the news they cover first. And it does not matter how important this is, they always tell about it.
Super guys. I always watch their video. All the news I look first at them. And they always show them first.
I like IGN they keep me posted on every new games being released and best rated games from low to top. I receive news from them monthly on games to preorder. And great deals that would be releasing. IGN its pretty good well actually better than GameInformer
I don't always agree with the score, but it's always well presented, and the comics section is cool too :)
I love this game bcz i love this game and i am again playing games^_)^ and others not a good best i love this game
The best place to get news over great games new or old, even systems.
