Globale Kommunikation is a shady translation agency that should be avoided. The operator, Nardina Alongi is nothing short of crazy. Remuneration is 0,03-0,04 cents per word, which is the very worst price dumping I have ever seen. Not to mention, they don't pay their bills and often blame the non-payment from their clients as a reason for why they can't pay the translator - which is not the way it works when paying someone for the provision of a service. The fact that they think this is normal should be an indicator for the kind of people we are dealing with. Plenty of other bad reviews on this company can be found on the internet. They have also been banned from PROZ.com. Avoid!

They are based in Germany, they don´t pay their translators, even the ones working for a long time - simply stop responding to any contact attempt after invoices are issued.

They have legal actions ongoing for non-payment issues. If you are a Translators Cafe, Traduguide, or Proz member, or know someone who is, ask them to check their Blue Board (Proz), Hall of Fame and Shame and see for yourself what they have to say about this company or its CEO Nardina Alongi - Stay far away!

I used to work as a translator for GK. I worked for Nardina for almost 2 years and never had a complaint. I was even asked to do some of their accounting for them, as their 'financial CEO', Peter Rudolph is according to 'CEO' Nardina Alongi: a constant and abusive drunk. That is when I saw the true mess their companies were in. They are using money from one of their 6 shady businesses to mend holes in other ventures. They have been bankrupt many times. They go on expensive holidays and have houses in France and Spain which they pay off the backs of their hard-working translators - who rarely get paid. And if they do get paid, they are paid a ridiculous €0,03-€0,04 per translated word.

This is a ridiculous amount of money that people have to pay tax on as well. By the end of it, there is hardly any money left to live off of.

Nardina says the most horrible to her translators about other translators behind their back. She is unprofessional and simply cannot get a decent translator to work for her anymore.

Globale Kommunikation and its CEO Nardina Alongi are an embarrassment to the industry. They pay rock bottom prices (0.03-0.04/word), behave unprofessionally and simply stop paying their translators. They also operate under the company names GREENLANDIC TRANSLATIONS, BUCHÜBERSETZUNG. COM und LINGUAPOLY. Don't expect anything to be different from these companies as they are all run by the same woman. She deserves to go to court for everything that she has stolen from countless people. An absolute liar.
