I guess being laid off and smart enough to keep a zero balance and not run yourself into credit problems isn't good enough for webbank. I wish i could say what i'm thinking, but then this review would never make it to publishing.

I hadn't even had this account for a year and they closed it without informing me due to non activity, 6 months of which were during COVID 19 pandemic when I had no extra money to spend! I will NOT reopen this account EVER! Meaning the company lost a potential future customer forever. Their loss...

Non working laptop

I wished I can give you zero star. I bought a laptop from this agency and the laptop did not work for 2 days. I bought the laptop with insurance n December 6th gave it to my son on January 1st and by January 22nd. I have been calling them and they have been playing games with me. They don't repair or replace the laptop

Good company for me

I have had only positive experiences with gettington. Items ordered were priced good in comparison to other places, the quality has been fine. I am pleased with gettington. I use the gettington credit and when I send a payment it gets posted on time. 1

Piece of $hit company!

I ordered a queen size bed frame at $400.00. I get the frame in one box. No where near big enough for all the pieces, i open the box, and find out I'm missing half the stuff (go figure from the size of the box) i call customer service and they tell me i have to send it back, at MY cost of shipping. They wont just send me the parts im missing! I guess i should have looked at the reviews before ever doing business with this $#*! hole of a company. Needless to say, i told them i would be sending it back, and they could shove it where the sun doesn't shine sideways! NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER do business with this shaddy company! You will regret it! Picture of the box of came in.

This company charges 3-6× the normal price as products on Amazon. No matter how desperate you are, do not open an account and do not order anything from this company. What they do should be illegal.

I just want to say that I have been with Gettington since 2016, I have ordered and received undamaged and working equipment worth several thousand dollars.
I got a notice in August of 2019 that they (Gettington) would close my account due to inactivity if I didn't buy something and use this account, I liked Gettington to this point, so I wanted to keep them and use their credit and buy something just to keep the account active, so I ordered a solar welcome bear for our new home, ordering went fine, shipping went fine, I received the solar bear, kept him boxed up till we moved to our new home.
Once we got moved in I opened the box, nothing noticeably damaged, however, there were no instructions, but its not hard to figure out. I put him out in direct sun, waited till dark, went to turn it on by pressing the button on the bottom of the bear, remember, no instructions, and nothing happened, so I thought maybe it needed more time in the sun.
I left the bear out one more day in the sun, tried to turn it on again that night by pressing the only button on the thing, and once again nothing.
So I contacted Gettington customer service and was told to ship it back to them, at my cost, they would send out a new one, at my cost. So this solar bear was now going to cost me more in shipping ($45) than the original cost of the bear ($38).
So I called customer service and politely asked them to close my account, there is no reason why I should have to pay for shipping back defective merchandise and pay to have the replacement sent to me.
Gettington could have saved me as a customer if they would have taken responsibility for this, but it seems that in this new era, they could care less about customer service, their motto is NEXT CUSTOMER, P**S on the last one.
If you want great customer service, free shipping go to Ebay, they offer credit, and yes most of all GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE, unlike Gettington.
All I can say is good bye.

Bad information
August 25, 2019

I lost my job. I couldn't pay, gettington send my name to the credit Bureau. Sold my information to another company. I repaid this company. After, I repaid the money my info went from being late to derogatory. They make sure they messed you up real good.

I received a card from gettington with $500 credit line and a bunch of info stating how it is good for medical, dental, shopping, etc. However, there was nothing on the card to process it. When I called I was told it is only for shopping at Gettington. What crap these people hand you. I cut the card in half and threw it out. Never order a card from this company again.

First of all, I was unable to have an order shipped to an address other than mine. After calling customer service, they sent the request to their verification department, which denied the request. Again I submitted an order to be delivered to myself and was referred to customer service. Upon calling and verifying who I was, they requested that I send them a copy of my D/L, SS card and a bill. You would think that all this would have been covered when they ran my credit. Deal with them if you have a lot of time to waste.

Sahalie is great! I have bought their clothes for several years and was always pleased with the product and customer service.

Until now. Sahalie was bought by Gettington and their quality, customer service, etc. has been awful! I will never buy from this company.

Their catalogues do not include a phone number. Only a website. I found their phone number via Google.

Beware that when you call Gettington their automated message just to get to Customer Service requires providing the last 4 digits of your social security number! I refused to do this and pressed 0/zero.

The customer number on the back of my catalogue was "not valid" and because of thistheir automated phone system hung up on me!

With a recent order I received by mistake shoes that I didn't order and didn't receive the dress that I did order. When I talked with the Customer Service rep she didn't understand what the problem was. I requested talking to her manager, who was a bit billigerent when I said that I didn't want to pay for shipping (again) in order to have the dress sent to me. Finally she gave in. However, she could not send the dress until they received the shoes.

I sent in the shoes and never received any notice from Gettington. I finally called and the CSR (again) didn't understand the issue even when I told him to that it was supposedly documented in their computer system. Again I had to request talking to his manager. She did resolve the issue but why is this so difficult?

I wish Sahalie had never sold to Gettington.

I opened the account before Christmas 2018, could not find anything on the site suitable for my kids but decided to keep it open as I can still use to send flowers on special occasions. It's been only 8 months since I opened the account, have not used the account once, and found out today they closed my account weeks ago. No notice, no email, no mail, nothing. I called customer service and was given the run around, no one could tell me why my account was closed. Very disappointed.

I discovered Sahalie last year and bought several items from them all of which I loved and regularly receive compliments on when I wear them. So Gettington bought them. I followed the links, struggled through the Gettington website and the ordering process which all seemed more cumbersome than necessary and finally got my order placed (all Sahalie items).

I purchased five items. When they arrived, I was disappointed in both the fit and the materials, and ended up sending back four of the five. How I managed to buy so many wonderful items from Sahalie before and then end up returning 4/5 of my last order, I don't know. Chance I suppose. Fine.

BUT... the return process was just as cumbersome as the purchasing process and I never received any communication when they received the items back. In the end, I was relieved when, several weeks later, the refund showed up in my account and I knew I wouldn't have to deal with customer service.

I will not shop here again.

When I called to change my email the customer service representative asked for my entire social security number! I told her no way that my life is attached to that number. That's how identities get stolen. She said it's "standard practice and people do it all the time". I asked for her supervisor and was on hold forever so I hung up and called back to speak to someone else who said it's not standard practice and they are supposed to ask for last 4 digits only. A bit of a very unethical scam request for an email change?! Never give your whole number out to anyone your life is attached! I paid off my account and closed it.

I had ordered some items for a special event. When the items came, they had send me the wrong size shoes. I called immediately and they said I would have to send the shoes back and I needed to follow the instructions on the label that came with my items. There were not return codes specified on this packing list so I called back. Got the code and asked why it said I would be charged to send back the item they sent me in error! After talking to a second person, they agreed to send me a return postage label! This should have been done with my first call! I sent the package back, following all the instructions for an exchange. It was ten days before they even got my shoes back. I called to see what the hold up was and he told me it would take ten days to credit my account! I told him that I asked for an exchange... he clearly had no idea what was happening with my order. This could have been a language barrier, since every agent I spoke to since this mess started could barely speak English! He said it will take another ten days to get my shoes to me... really?! I'm not confident at all that this is going to turn out correctly but I will NEVER do business with this company again. Also, their shipping is outrageous! They charged me over $34 to ship a 4 lb package! Robbery... stay away from this company.
