TOTAL SCAM!
March 24, 2021

I made an account 9 months ago they just started sending me text messages saying I have been matched for an audition. As soon as I called they asked me to pay them over $100, and said they believe that if I don't pay or invent in myself I am not serious... they also asked for my debit card information which was supper sus. Then as I did research I found out they are gold diggers who only want your money. On the phone call they didn't really listen to what I had to say and called me disrespectfully for denying to give them my card information... don't fall for this company they just wanna scam you and it's no good to you at ALL!

I worked for Explortalent.com for 6 weeks. The jobs are fake, the testimonials are paid actors and the owner sits in the Philippines nurturing his drug habits. There is no head quarter in Las Vegas. It's only a P. O. box address. No Americans are working for him. All agents are in the Philippines and Mexico. He is an evil man. Opening and closing offices on a monthly basis and not paying the employees. Don't sign up with them. Take my word for it. When I found out what was going on I quit immediately. He's a con man and Explore talent.com is a fraud.

Did a 7 day for 2 dollars on some casting that my daughter got an email for, still not sure when the profile was made. They then charged 188.00 for a memberrship that we did not want. Not only is this an outrageous price, not even close to Actors Access, Backstage, or LA casting all that are 120 and under for a yearly price. They apparently have in small writing terms and conditions for this and charge regardless if you want the service. I would give this a negative if I could. Bad business and over priced.

Scam
October 1, 2020

I reached back when I seen the voice mail and I talked with the someone to help me with getting jobs and they asked for credit card which I felt kinda funny about. And my bank sent me a message now I had to get another card.

I don't suggest unless you want your Bank card in risk.

How did explore talent get my child's picture & name? We do not consent! The profile is fake. We have never even been in USA. Intercontinental identity theft?

I did my own commercials and sent it to the agents when I was notified by ET and I tried out for everything and NEVER got a response from anyone. Very frustrating to be ignored after I put forth so much effort, time and money into everything I sent them. No one got back to me, no one at all!

Money Hungry
October 16, 2019

I get all kind of text messages from casting directors saying you matched for a commercial paying $5,000 and give a number to call. Find out its a phone rep for explore talent telling me I'm matched with so many great money making jobs and they can submit my profile but I have to sign up with the pro for casting director to respond back to me. I told her I don't have the money and she said your going to miss out on this opportunity an she kept asking me which one I wanted to sign up with I told her again I don't have the money then she says its only $100 your going to make so much more doing the commercial. Big game play. Didn't get me though. If someone wants me for their commercial I'm not going to pay them. No thanks!

This really is a SCAM people. Look at all the 4-5 star reviews. Each one of those, if you click on the name, only has 1 review. Some of these answers don't even make sense. Don't say we didn't warn you. I bet after my post goes up, they'll have a new comment with 4 or 5 stars, talking about how they got a role within a couple days or a weeks time.

! SCAM!
March 23, 2017

Tried not giving it a star, because they didn't earn them at all, but it made me select one. I have "hundreds of matches" for auditions... but the scouts can't see my profile until I pay $200+ dollars... yeah no thank you. I politely told him I wanted to think about it because I work full time, and won't have time for auditions until summer anyway unless it's a weekend. He kept trying to talk me out of waiting two more months with the whole "you'll lose these opportunities, it's first come first serve" argument. I know that already--it's common sense. But I'm not about to drop $200 ($288.73 to be exact) on something that I'm not 100% sure is real. Reading through these reviews, thank God I didn't. Don't stop at the first 5 reviews... KEEP scrolling. Their employees write all those to push the real ones to the back hoping no one will see them. Check it out for yourself. To the employees of the company, shame on you. I hope you find a more honest job. Have a blessed day.

Total Scam
April 15, 2016

I wish I read reviews before falling for this scam. Don't do it, they make promises and after you pay you cannot reach your Rep for assist watch out if Jay Perez calls you she's really sleek. It's s a total waste of money.

Honestly, if you read this just don't waste your time. This people are making so much money for nothing is ridiculous... They are taking listings from pages like Backstage (an actual casting website) and putting them in their site without the casting director even knowing about it. Do your research when looking for casting sites... and if there's so many SCAM alerts, it must be one.

They called and texted me telling me that i was personally asked to work with Keanu Reeves in the new Matrix 4 movie. I don't even remember signing up for the website. As I was on the phone with my "talent advisor" I searched the name and saw all the bad reviews. The first thing that pops up on google when you search the name is "Explore Talent Scam". I told them I didn't want to pay for a membership and that's when she said the only way to be considered for the position is to upgrade and that's when I knew it was fake. Good try though. If I were anyone else I might have fallen for it but I'm smarter than that. Don't fall for any tricks and stay safe out there! :)

Fed Up
February 16, 2020

Why is it so hard for beginners in the acting world, or entertainment business to get an agent?
I get it we "lack" the experience agents look for but does that mean we lack in raw talent or dedication. NO. From the time I was a baby to the 24 year old man I am now I've been told I have a spark a light about me that meant for something, we'll I found one of my dreams and I'm pursuing it but these sites that want money constantly for me to be successful shut me down cause guess what I HAVE NO MONEY. I'm well aware that these sites are filled with PARAsites (< Ha Thee Irony) that want to suck us dry but I want to act and if that means bombarding audition until they see I'm the guy for the role so be it. Notice the flare of dramatic I in my writing, and IM NOT BORN FOR THIS, I THINK NOT.

I'm contimplateing
June 2, 2015

So far I've been impressed with their service, I used to think that only the rich can be models. I'll never make it in the industry. When I first started to get text messages I was like hmm... Then I got a call from an agent who said he'd like me to put some pictures on my profile. So I said I guess that would make since. So I put some pics I had taken a wile back and a couple of new pictures I had just taken. Then I got another call from a different agent offering to lower the price of my service if I upgraded my profile. I don't have $100 to throw around. This guy offered to drop it to $60 to join. We will see, if they need talent they should be out looking for it for free.

STEER CLEAR
October 4, 2019

You submit your information, they call you saying you're matched for Forever 21, Uber commercials, and whoever the hell else. Doesn't mean anything this is Explore Talent telling you they think you'd match...

When on the phone with a representative i told her i wanted to do a month by month service because i couldn't pay for a year or 6 months in advance. The b***h tells me "Well i don't have time for anybody who's not serious about this business" so of course i had choice words after that.

Last but not least... they will start sending you messages stating that "Casting Directors are trying to contact you" just to get you to sign back up if you've canceled your "premium". I paid for a month, i signed in, the casting director never hit me back. This was same day..

A very scripted scam
April 29, 2016

So, i got a call, email and text like everyone else about me getting a speaking role in Fast & Furious 8 and that the casting director tried to contact me but couldn't since my account was no longer active. I asked then how did they see my profile if my account is inactive? Anyway, an obvious scam. What confirmed it is when they called me a few days later for my son, saying the exact same thing! Just so you all know if you have paid them, don't worry, call your credit card company and tell them it was a fraudulent charge. They will credit you that amount and change your card no questions asked.

Soooo rude!
September 29, 2016

I spoke with "Toni Sox" and her extension is #8837 phone number *******777.
She was nice and quick to say "free this" "free that"... tell me "Okay please hold to submit your profile" I waited... then she said "Okay, the director cannot take your profile due to not having paid the ProfilePro rates."
Typical scam approach. Don't fall for it people!
