My wife was diagnosed with stage 4 bladder cancer. Mayo Clinic removed her bladder, vagina, uterus, ovaries and 18 lymph nodes. Difficult making decisions about next phase of treatments. We called Envita and they said we needed to pay up front for any consultations. We paid the $550 as requested. After paying the fee we thought best to "circle the wagons" and decide if this was the right right choice for us. We asked to regroup and have them refund the $500 fee for the consultation. Dania, our go to person did not respond to our voice mail or emails for 5 days. I called and spoke with the phone contact at Envita who said, "should be no problem to get your money back." Finally received a email from our "advocate", this is what Dania replied to us, " I will make sure to cancel the appointment. The initial consultation fee is non-refundable." Thank you for your love and concern. You clearly have our best interest at heart and are truly interested in people. (Sarcasm)
Don't consider this organization for post surgical cancer treatment. They are only interested in money and themselves. Check out city of hope or Anderson's but avoid this place. Not good.
Our family relocated to AZ so that a family member could receive treatment for esophageal cancer. When her health struggled, we were told that her treatment was "working" & that it was "normal." After 3 months of this roller coaster, we were told her CT scan showed a "37% reduction of the cancer," only to have her oncologist from home confirm that her cancer was in fact WORSE & SPREADING. Envita lied to us so that we would continue to give them money. Even if it meant dying away from home & loved ones.
We were glad to speak with Ms. Hess on Saturday morning and she helped clarify some of the early questions that we should ask and what tests we should seek to answer. We will approach the Canadian Cancer Society which has a Branch here in Victoria B.C.
Thanks.!
Very compassionate answers with a lot of empathy for my wife situation before calling me had investigated possible treatment or options for referrals.
Although we were trying most of the options suggested it was good to know that they had researched and took my concerns to heart. Thanks again for the heartfelt response.
We were very impressed with how informative that Casey is! Personal phone call with great compassion and consideration! My husband and I were very pleased to talk to her and the information that she had sent us! Awesome
Website looks like a lot of available information, I'm attracted to the many types of treatments although I don't understand what they are or how they work. I was looking for treatment for my mother who has cancer but we don't know what kind yet. We live in New Mexico and have decided to pursue treatment in-state. I never spoke to someone from your center but that is not because y'all did reach out to me several times. My phone has an aggressive call filter and I didn't know about the calls and have just been too overwhelmed with not knowing what to do that I did not call back. Thank you for your responses.
When I first visited Envita in April 2018, 'Hope' was the word I came away with. It was the first time in 5 years I felt hopeful. I was diagnosed with chronic lymphocytic leukemia in December 2013. My journey has been long, filled with mountain tops and valleys, but the care and treatment I received from Envita was first class. The staff and nurses were amazing! My physician was very knowledgeable. It was so nice to feel like I had someone fighting along beside me. I would recommend Envita to anyone fighting a battle, whether it be cancer or Lyme.
I am very happy to hear of your extensive testing followed by natural alternative treatments.
It is unfortunate that with my (and so many others) very limited social security income, and useless Medicare/Healthcare system, we cannot explore these wonderful options. Our healthcare system needs a complete restructuring.
Never actually got to talk to anyone on the phone, not there fault... but the indepth info. That was provided via email answered all my current questions and concerns completely. So, I am well satisfied.
Nic answered all of my questions thoroughly, kindly and with patience. He gave me the information I needed without any pressure. Envita cares about people and wanting to help us achieve great health and positive results.
Compassionately expressed detailed info but was really hoping that did on line and/or zoom consultations about treatment protocol options based on their on hand diagnostic medical scan & test results that would give those that can't travel across the country and don't have the finances for 100% out of pocket care
My daughter was ill with mono for 12 weeks in high school when she was a senior. Never fully recovered. Entire time in college was ill running an unexplained fever. Graduate, started a wonderful fill time job and a master degree program when everything hit the wall. Very sick. Leave of absence from job, withdrew from school and moved home. Was finally diagnosed with Lyme. She battled fearlessly for 2 years with the efforts of a saintly Doctor here. We stents hundreds of thousands of retirement dollars to help her. I am so sad that we did not know about Envita! He story parallels so many others but we had very few avenues. Her doctor saved her life. She is now a trauma nurse at a county hospital after successfully regaining her life. She only lost a decade instead of her entire life. Envita I applaud you!
The woman who called was very knowledgeable and caring.
Unfortunately, I can't imagine asking strangers through Facebook - Go Fund Me? To pay for my medical.
Too bad we still haven't come far enough to actually offer everyone the same care.
Rockefeller I am not!
Just par for the course in this country.
Unfortunately, Envita does not take insurance, and the patient would be from out of state. This country is in serious need to insure this amazing type of care, cure, compassion and detailed assistance for breath cancer patients.
Not writing for myself, personally, but for my father-in-law, Terry Skidmore. Battling with prostate cancer, his quality of life and happiness suffered greatly, until he started receiving treatment at Envita. The treatments, supplements and care were all first rate, and his outlook and mood improved noticeably afterwards.
For the weeks that our loved one was at Envita, he was tended to by the same nursing staff, same doctors, same patient care coordinator, same Receptionists, etc. This is just what anyone would expect when they go to a "treatment facility". The only thing that we could have changed was the fact that they don't bill your insurance, rather gave us some resources of how we can bill them ourselves. All-in-all after we left Envita, we all agreed that we wished we had known about them from the start of his illness, and glad that they were there when we needed a different option.
We are glad you had a positive experience at Envita, Lila. Thank you for your support!
These people claim to be able to assist people and restore health, but they take months to create a personalized treatment. My sister is in a hospital dying and these doctors haven't told her the truth about her progression. Now she is refusing traditional treatment because they have her believing they can help her best. Hence, we are watching her die and refusing to try anything else that might help bring her some relief. Before you give them your $$$ do your research. I hope they are brave enough to post this honest review.
An alternative to chemotherapy would be preferred to what my husband experienced more than 20 years ago. We are just in the process of finding out the extent of my husband's colon cancer. Until then, I don't think looking for alternatives would help.
I have suffered for the past 20 years with Lyme Disease and the past year was basically bedridden. A good friend called and told me about Envita. I started going to Envita in June of 2018 and went for 8 weeks. All of the nurses, staff and Dr. Warren were very attentive to my needs. After 3 1/2 months of treatment I can gratefully say that I am back on my feet, feeling better and my life has returned to normal.
My diagnosis is metastatic breast cancer to lymph nodes and bone. Envita treats me as a whole person with many options for a tailor made protocol for my specific needs. I appreciate their integrative approach to wellness as I chose not to do the conventional standard of care. I've been amazed at some of the treatments they offer and wish they were more readily available to everyone. They are with me every step of the process. The entire staff is genuinely caring and always willing to do what they can to propel me forward in my healing.
Answer: Jo, it all depends on more factors than just where that cancer is located. At our center, we personalize treatment based on an individual's genetic information, which can play many different factors. To learn more about our clinic please contact us at 1-866-830-4576 and a Patient Care Coordinator can help provide further insight.
Answer: Envita Medical Centers provides treatments that go beyond the realm of what standard insurance is willing to cover so we do not directly bill insurance for our care.
Answer: Unfortunately we do not provide telehealth services at Envita Medical Centers. You would need to be treated at our facility in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Answer: We are very sorry to hear that your sister is having a hard time with chemotherapy. Chemo can be extremely taxing on the body, especially if given at maximum therapeutic dose without first genetically targeting it to your sister's cancer needs. Which is why if chemotherapy is deemed necessary for a patients protocol we use a proprietary method called GTFC or Genetically Targeted Fractionated Chemotherapy. Here is a link related to this treatment https://www.envita.com/conditions/cancer/chemotherapy
Answer: We treat all cancer types and stages, including endometrial cancer.
Answer: We are aware of this research. We have been looking into developing new agents through our custom compounding pharmacy that harness the same mechanisms of action as the drug ErSO. It is pretty exciting work.
Answer: Fibromyalgia is an idiopathic diagnosis, meaning physicians don't exactly know what caused this collection of symptoms. At Envita we use advanced proprietary testing to identify underlying conditions that could be causing or exacerbating fibromyalgia symptoms. Treatment range can vary greatly depending on how severe your symptoms are. It is recommended you speak with a Patient Care Expert so they can learn more about your case, once they have a better idea of how severe your Fibromyalgia is, then they can give you an idea of what it might take to treat it.
Answer: CIPI could be a potential treatment for your sister but our physicians would need to do an in person assessment of your sister's state of disease before they could recommend CIPI for her.
Wesley, glad we could help. Thank you for the review and we wish your father in law all the best.
