Ventrilo to me is the Good Old Farm House Yes Mumble has better Audio and Quality Features Yes Raidcall and Discord has Chat+video+hentaibots Yes TeamSpeak is horrible and i always hated it with a deep hatred passion So until lately where i had to give up being hardheaded... Simply because of how popular discord got I probably would still be using it Ahh the good old Molten core 10h Raids falling asleep listening to people explain the fights for the 10th time to newbies on ventrilo. If performance was still an issue for me Then id definetly still use it has discord is pretty high usage Especially since i run 6 bots for our discord Will always and forever be My favorite even if we are now apart Sadest part is people use discord only to text chat... Has an Asocial Bipolar. Ventrilo always been the only place i would vocally socialise and now it is gone. Like how all Videostore is gone. Netflix is sheet and isnt the same has going to rent a movie and so is all the other voicechat. Ventrilo was the AUTHENTIC Voice Platform
Ventrilo is a garbage VoIP. To be honest, who still uses this? This isn't early 2000. Ventrilo is literally a step below TeamSpeak but was a step above Raidcall. It serves a purpose of providing voice chat but with terrible latency. The website looks like it's from 1998 so I can imagine just how the program interface still looks. Yiiiikes.

I use this to play games. RTS (Real time strategy), MMOs (Mass Multiplayer Online), FPS (First Person Shooter), and RPGs (Role Playing games) You name it, it can be used for it. It can be used for a variety of things.
When I was out of the country, I used this to talk to my boyfriend without incurring any phone fees. =]
It's free to download! (YAY!), and only one person has to pay for hosting and it's relatively cheap! (You can host it yourself for free, but the host has to stay online the whole time for it to work)
So buy a mic and you're good to go :D
