Purchased one of their sample packs to try their 6 different Almond based sauces using a coupon code. The sample pack is a selection of 6 different flavors packaged in nice 8 ounce plastic bottles. It was shipped and arrived in a decent amount of time by USPS.

Upon opening the box, each 8 oz bottle had an expiration date of about 6 to 8 weeks away. Since we do not use a lot of sauces like this it took a while for us to use them. It would have been better if the sauces were 4 oz bottles since the expiration dates were very close. We chose to try 2 sauces right away; Habanero and Cilantro Lime.

I noticed that the bottle seals of these two were not actually sealing, so this worried me, especially since they did not require refrigeration. I wanted to test if the shelf life was accurate with the bad seals, and no it is not. As the expiration date approached, 2 bottles started to swell. I gave the India Curry sauce to a friend from India and they said it was ok, but did need refrigeration.

The sauces themselves are nice flavor additions and you will most likely find one or more that you like best. If you try the sample pack, do refrigerate immediately upon receiving them.

The company offers a $10 credit to 5 star reviews on their site, but this I find a deceptive business practice and told them so. This practice is an FTC violation and Google was recently fined for this on their Pixel phone reviews.

We will continue to buy their Habanero sauce as it is nice, but upon receipt we will immediately refrigerate / freeze extra bottles.
