This site is horrible. I joined literally this week, hadn't logged in until yesterday and my account was disabled. They could not confirm or request that my account was deleted. Ladies beware! They will use your profile and pictures to entice others to pay and ioin. This website is a scam.
The quality of people on this site is horrible. It's definitely not for a sophisticated person. If you have low standards... this is the PERFECT site for you. 60% of the men look like they may have priors... seriously... like they've done time. I've never come across a site this bad. DO NOT waste your time. If you are looking for a blue collar, divorced man, who is 20 years your senior, who lives in a studio apartment... this is the site for you.
I think there a some dummy profiles on this site. Two months of searching and nothing! Well no, actually if I count the two former porn stars, a scammer and a few million-year-olds, I had some traction... lol. Maybe my standards were too high and I was waiting for the man to make the first approach. Nope! I reached out to a few with profiles and bios that peaked my interest and seemed like potential "somethings" and got absolutely no response. Nothing, nothing!
Anyways, from my experience be certain that your self esteem and confidence levels are very high or you may end up feeling real horrible after dealing with the questionable profiles on this site. I don't know, maybe I don't have the patients for this site but I'm sharing my view incase it can help someone else have a less frustrating experience.
Best of luck.
Tip for consumers:
Check the reviews! Do your own research.
Pay close attention to the 'new members' category, it's the same profiles that come up even weeks after joining the site. The search filters are a waste of time because you never get the specifics you searched for. Tgese sites are designed to lure unsuspecting people to believe it works and they just a click away from happiness. Its a cruel way to play on the vunerable persons who use them hoping to find real connections.
This site is definitely a SCAM!. Steer clear of it for sure. It is a lie. There are no matches. Only BS stories. Not worth your time or money!
Tip for consumers:
SCAM!!!
They put my profile on review because I cursed out a scammer on there. He sent me a video of him doing things to a woman she was very uncomfortable and they did not remove him from the site. Very sick how they kept on a website and put my profile under review. Some white guy claims he from South Africa. Now they control how you talk on this website!
This site had me sign up with my credit card, failed to set me up with anyone and then continued to charge me money over weeks and weeks. I had to call my bank to cancel the payments as Swirlr is clearly not legitimate.
I was on the site for three months and found several sincere black women. I was very impressed by their quality and knowledge about various subjects.
The only thing that kept me from finding a match was that - I intend to stay where I'm at and the ladies I met were tied to where they were living also... children and all.
Where I currently live is great for retirement but there's not many ladies of color here, so that puts me at a significant disadvanrage... BUT SWIRLR was still a very positive experience and I would recommend it to anyone. I wish everyone out there the very best of luck and sincere well wishes.
This website is no different from the rest of the free websites, to get anything you have to pay and even after you pay and update the account at 100% for some reason you are still being contacted by a bunch of old 50 plus year old perverts. I will not be renewing my membership as it is a waste of time. Furthermore the fact that I am African-American makes it worse, because it seems as though all of the KKK looking perverts are the ones that want to talk to me no offense I love my Caucasians just not the creepy ones.
I only paid once for my subscription and found that women of color are treated more like tricks than women. The matrix is skewered somehow that you have these views but no messages; its like no one reaches out except for pervs; and last, this website is a joke actually. If you are looking for a good mate and keep your self-esteem, go out and meet that person. This site will have you feeling so insecure and piece of meat.
Yet another dating site review-Swirlr.com claims that you can find the interracial friendship, relationship or marriage that is the perfect fit-so far, the views have been tremendous, but no flirts or messages-subscription plans are a little high-monthly is $19.95 for 1 month, $39.50 for 3 months and $69.95 for 6 months-they advertise it as you are only paying a low amount per month, but you have to pay the subscription up front in full-mmm, not sure about that one-
There are many women on this site, most if not all have photos on their profiles, only have come across 2 or 3 without profile pics, so it would be interesting to see if Google Images comes across any porn stars or actresses from the profile pics as it happens with other dating sites-
Swirlr claims the "VIP benefits" are huge, you can connect with people you are interested in, but it doesn't say by what standard or formulation the company connects people with-you can send and receive unlimited emails, see who viewed you (that has been my biggest problem with this site-why would I have to pay to see who has viewed my profile when I or anybody else can create one for free? Doesn't make sense) one to one webcam chat (strippers making some side money potential perhaps?) unlimited chatroom minutes (again, hookup heaven with escorts and hookers) you can discover who favorite you (again, same as the views-shouldn't have to pay to see who likes you or your profile)
This site is beginning to throw some big red flags to me about scammer potential, and possibly getting ripped off-There is really no other places that I have been able to find for reviews about this site-and that is a concern for me as well-going to see how it goes, but for those of you looking around for dating online, be careful with this one-I will post an update after trying it for 1 month, and if it's the scammer infested BS site that I fear that it is, STAY AWAY with as much prejudice as you can-with all the news about AM and the member information hijacked and controversy surrounding it-makes one very leery about handing over your credit card for a subscription to any website anymore
BUYER BEWARE-be careful on this one-might work, then might not-again, if you are looking for someone to share your life with, maybe online isn't the safest place that it used to be anymore-Thank you
