Im sorry for all the negative reviews on here. However I ordered a mother of the groom dress and jacket like many others I assumed this was a uk based company. I asked the questions about delivery times. Was told three weeks... for custom made... and decided to go with. I placed order... promptly I got an email asking me for more measurements. In which I quickly replied to. I paid approx £150. And like everyone else no sign of dress getting close to date I required it... e mail after email. Was dhl holding it up... Two days before it supposed to be here I send them an email saying if it not here dont bother as I wont accept it... next day it came... I was petrified to open it after reading many a negative review... but to my surprise the colour (hunter green satin) absolutely gorgeous. I tried it on. And like all was disappointed not fitting like picture... looked like Joan Collins. I was devastated... however I took my dress to a fantastic dress maker... she charged me £50 to correct all the mistakes. And made my outfit absolutely stunning... she also said for her to make me this outfit in this country would have cost £500. So Stacees made a beautiful dress just the sizes all wrong the workmanship that went into it was fantastic. I was lucky I ordered with a month to spare and had the time to get it sorted... the amount of comments I got on the day. Stunning. Gorgeous... fantastic made it all worth it... this is a true review thank you Dawn
Their custom fitting department is a joke. The dress they sent cost $80.00 to have altered in the waist and hem. The top of the dress, which was the only part not altered, fell apart in the middle of the Homecoming dance leaving my daughter exposed. They are refusing to give my money back.

This company is not genuine about the return policy. I ordered a dress which did not look like on pictures at all. After many e-mails back and forth I have been offered £60 refund for a dress I spent £125 on, or I can return it for 70% of the price of the dress as they say they need to deduct cost of the material (which isn't mentioned on the website at all). The return address is in China and you need to pay to send it back over there plus any custom charges. Be aware and stay away!

Don't even deserve 1 *. Poor quality, inconsistent sizing. Will not uphold their returns policy - absolutely impossible to return a dress and they do not pay a refund, rather offer £20 for you to keep a £120 dress that you don't want.
Like many others I would like to add my two cents and vent my frustration and anger at this online store which offers the worst possible customer service. I would give ZERO stars for the run around you get just to return an item, they give you all sorts of BS when its advertised "WORRY FREE RETURN". For over 3 weeks I bought a dress and trying to either return or exchange they gave a ton of excuses and even went on to say I can resell the dress to someone else to recover the cost I've never heard such non-sense I hope my review helps others to NEVER order from this site unless you are 100% certain that you'll get the perfect fit...don't waste your time and money and I'm hoping for my issue to be resolved after someone from the company reads my review.

Items arrived late despite paying additional fees to ensure delivery. They actually posted the parcel after the expected delivery date. Items were cheap and not as described, advisor.on the chat function promised full easy return like their website describes but this is not the case.
They will not honour their refund policy, they don't provide a returns label, offering £40 for an order worth £400 and have now stopped responding. Disgraceful unethical behaviour
Faulty item sent and return process started. Full refund not offered, faulty zip was my fault and resolution was for me to take to local tailor to get the zip fixed for a £10 refund! Despite many commications. Including photos and videos of the issue they have not offered a full refund. Matter is now with PayPal to resolve. I will never use this retailer again or recommend it to anyone who values their money and getting an item that is fit for purpose.

We ordered a prom for my daughter and when it arrived we were shocked by the terrible quality, there were loose threads everywhere, the straps dug into my daughters shoulders and the material gave her a rash! We contacted Stacees to complain and after several weeks they finally replied to tell us that we should cut the loose threads and offered a $10 refund! We replied and after chasing again finally received an updated offer of a free dress. Clearly we have no confidence in this company so a free dress was not god enough! Still waiting for a reply to latest messages, absolutely ridiculous. I'll be looking at official action…

This is a long review but needs a read if you're thinking of buying anything from Stacees.
I wish I'd had the foresight to read these reviews before I spent £380 on two dresses. Dresses that should have fit me perfectly judging by their sizing guide, but didn't.
As detailed in other reviews, I am in the midst of ping-pong emails with Stacees, who are trying their very best to avoid me returning the items and giving me my money back. Their first email has asked for photographic evidence that the dress isn't suitable (seriously? UK law is clear that anything bought online can be returned within the 14 day timeframe even if I simply just changed my mind and didn't want them anymore).
Second and third emails have them bartering with me to accept either a free dress or £60 in compensation. They have also said that it would be risky posting the dresses back because the postal system is so 'unstable'. Have they heard of tracked delivery?
Fourth email has them telling me that it will cost me £30-£40 return postage fees (per dress apparently!) despite it not saying on their website that it is the buyers responsibility to pay postage for refunds. On reading the Consumer Right's Act, this should be their cost to bare, and not mine.
They have also told me it will take 'about a month' to return my money to me once they've received the goods. Try again Stacees, the law states you have 14 days for online purchases.
Currently awaiting another email trying to convince me to try and sell on the dresses myself. At this point I am thinking it might be easier to just pay £70 to take them to the small claims court. Still cheaper than the postage costs if Stacees are to be believed! It appears this company is probably making quite a lot of money from cheating consumers of their rights.
This company needs to be investigated. A massive lawsuit needs to come against them. This company is nothing but a scam scam scam scam. Check the reviews before buying and not on their website on all the other websites, just google stacees.com and I am telling you everyone goes through the exact same thing which means that this company is the biggest scam and they're very clever because they do it through weddings and Proms. If you buy a dress from this website I guarantee you there'll be something wrong with it. I will be too small or the colours not right, or it's just poorly constructed. When you go to try and get a refund, they will not refund you, they try everything in the book to get you to take their minuscule payment offers. I have had over 15 emails going back-and-forth with the company just trying to get a simple refund. It is a scam the biggest scam that is out there at the moment. They are going to respond to this review saying" we are so glad that we were able to resolve the problem" I want you to trust and believe that there's been no resolve of this problem that's what they do, They answer peoples reviews like they've actually sorted out the problem when they have not. This happened to so many people and I'm not going to let them get away with it. I will be sending this to every site that I know, every company that I know and every government official that I know which is plenty, Just remember guys this company is a scam scam scam and when you read this review Stacie's will reply acting like they're trying to sort out the problem and actually they are not they are complete con artists do not buy from them EVER.

It looked awful and my daughter was so disappointed and now has to find another dream for her school ball in one week. We don't have the money for another dress.
When I queried it as soon as it arrived in the mail, Stacees just came back saying they could not see anything wrong with the 'tailor's finish' when it was clesrly nothing to do with that. I sent clear pictures to show the massive discrepancy in colour. They refused to refund us, then offered to make another dress (at our additional cost and shipping), then said don't send the other dress back as it will get lost in the mail?!)
This company is a joke and a compete rip-off. It appears that you are ordering from a reputable UK or USA site but the dresses are shipped from China and judging by the customer services replies I've had, they are China-based as well. Will obviously not ever order from Stacees again, I'm now over $250 out of pocket and have a dress that looks like it should be sent to the charity shop or the dress up box, with no offer of compensation from customer service.

I would rate zero stars if allowed. My daughter ordered her prom dress, received it and was way too big as well as the color was far from what was represented online. We submitted a request the day we received it, It's now been a week and the company refuses to send a return tag, but offered us $20.00 and told us to keep the dress and try to resell. Our next offer was to pay them $50.00 more for them to alter it. Their return policy clearly states returns within 14 days and from their website it states: Can i return the dress when i receive it?
You can return the dress and get refund if there is anything wrong with the dress you received.
They're are impossible to get a hold of live, no phone number that I've been able to locate. We have even communicated via instagram to try and get this rectified. Save yourself the money, time and headache and DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY! Needless to say, this return predicament placed us in a time constraint and we had no choice but to shop elsewhere for her prom dress due to a time constraint and so THANKFUL we did! We couldn't have asked for better customer service with the new dress store.

I ordered my daughter's prom dress. When it arrived it wasn't true to the size and the quality was rubbish. I contacted them to get a return label, they asked me to create a ticket which I did. This was 5 weeks ago now and I am going around in circle. They don't answer the whatsapp, (only to say they will ask the team to contact me), then each time a different person emails (half of my emails are unanswered) and when they do email they say to create a ticket or that I should keep the dress and try to re-sell it! They are avoiding to provide me with the return label. Once they have your money and the product is rubbish (which it is!) they rob you of your £130 and lie to you in every email. I have now escalate it through PayPal and if I can stop anyone getting ripped off like I did, then that will make me happy. This company needs to close down. DO NOT BUY from them - you will get robbed and have a battle on your hand! How are they allowed to do this, I will never know! But more people need to speak up!

I bought two prom dresses from Stacees as my daughter couldn't decide which she preferred. I contacted the online chat facility and was told if we order a standard size we could return them, I just needed to email Stacees and they would send me a return address. Sadly, this has not happened. Both dresses need returning as they do not fit and, as the other reviews have said, I've been given the run around. I contacted Stacees immediately to say I wanted to return the dresses and since then I have received a number of emails offering me a fraction of what I paid, the latest offer was £60 and I paid £220!
I have asked for this to be escalated to the manager but again, this hasn't happened. I wish I'd read the reviews on returning items before purchasing the dresses as I would not have used this company. My advice is to avoid at all costs.

DO NOT order from this place! Their website promises "worry free returns", so I ordered two different sizes for my daughter for Homecoming. Well, the dresses not only didn't look or feel like the photo (cheap fabric), but now they won't return them. I paid $190 plus shipping for two dresses and after many emails back and forth, they want to give me $35 and for me to sell the dresses myself. It is so frustrating and unprofessional. I am realizing that I will likely never get my money back and these two dresses will go in the trash, but I'm hoping that I can prevent someone else from falling into the same trap as me. There are plenty of other legitimate sites out there for dresses. But this one is NOT. Please, dont shop fro them.
Apparently you have to open a ticket for a return, stalk your ticket on their website to see if someone answered (cause who has time for that when planning a wedding) and send pictures. After leaving bad reviews and messaging them many many times, Stacee's has not responded to my refund requests after promising an amount. They have (after some time) gotten back to me about my dress return, but if I don't get a response about my refund they was stated, I will be reporting the company itself. This process has been over several months and I'm extremely disappointed with they way they have been handling things. All I want to do is return my dress and get the money back in the amount that they promised, and it seems they are making a whole bunch of empty promises.
The service, delivery and dress were good. However, the dress is a little big and the hem is a bit uneven. I am concerned that when I get the dress taken in, the (floor length) hem will lift up and be more obvious. However, not bad for the money, if you can't afford something better. I have some concerns about the ethics of this company; how well do they pay their staff (which I stupidly didn't think about until too late).
