Oh well, sportsbuy is shut down now... let me tell u about myself first be4 i give my review,,, i am a middle age handicapped me that has collected sports cards for the last 20 years of my life... i have collected thousands of sports cards... not i am not well and dont have many days left... back in 2009 i found sportsbuy and decided to check them out seeing as i was totally dissatisfied with ebay... sportsbuy was so very simple to post cards and to sell cards and made it so positively simple for S/H... they did the work 4u... i belong to 5+ different sports cards selling sights and NOT ONE of them hold a hair to being as good as sportsbuy for either buying or selling... i surly miss them... my name is John Younkin and i was not 1 of there vip sellers or buyers but i sure did feel like 1 when i dealt with there customer service... please bring it back back Mr. Elder

I also had a couple of poor experiences with sportsbuy both buying and selling. I made an offer on a box of 2008 Prestige Hobby Football for 110.00. I got no replies or answers of any sort and then after about 2 months, a Payment was taken from my debit card with NO WARNING for the amount of 121.00 with shipping that just comes out of nowhere for however much they decide and I NEVER RECEIVED the box! I fought with them for a couple of weeks as the seller emailed and stated that the box was shipped and I should have received it but they had no proof. (. 85 for tracking number on a 110.00 box of cards is usually a good idea for both parties) I finaly received my funds back from Sportsbuy. As far as selling goes, yes, very difficult to set up a sale and I ended up losing money as my two autographed football mini helmets only sold for. 99 each and the shipping was whatever Sportsbuy thought was reasonable. My fees cost me more than the actual sale! LOL needless to say, I wrote to the winning bidders and explained my ignorance to the site and how I could not justify selling these items when it was not set-up for sale the way i was intending and could not follow through and would be willing to pay them the sale price instead. Lol

(I posted this as a comment to someone else's review of sportsbuy, but it qualifies as a review itself:)

SportsBuy is also a lousy place to sell cards. They've got a user interface that seems as if it were intentionally designed to make listing cards as difficult and time consuming as possible. They often don't bother to even acknowledge feedback or suggestions. Selling a card for $0.25 results in $0.92 worth of transaction and "payment processing" fees (which I guess they justify by taxing the buyer $2.10 for shipping and "buyer protection"). And I suspect that a privileged few sellers get first pick of buy offers before the rest of us get a chance to see them.

This is the worse place to buy baseball cards! Buyers have no recorse at all! 16 buys 16 different sellers and 8 wrong cards sent! Good luck getting a refud. Only ONE person handles the desputes! Sellers lie lie lie and you must send the cards back with delivery confirmation. To Cannada it will cost you $36 buckS for a $10 card. They don't care! I have been fighting with them for 6 months to get a refund of $72 for 2 cards that came from Nova Scotia.bs bs bs

Just so people don't think the negative reviews here are the norm... I have bought and sold cards on Sportsbuy.com for 6 years now. I have had many good buying and selling experiences, and the few times that I bought cards from sellers that were never shipped to me, I received a full refund simply by filing a dispute after 7 days but before 10 days after the transaction date.
