I have nothing but good things to say about this company. I bought a battery powered oxygen concentrator and when I told them what other company's prices were, the knowledge woman helping me was able to not just meet but offer a cheaper rate by $600. I was blown away by how affordable it was. The customer service agent said they believed in making this piece of equipment accessible and affordable by most people and they did just that. I just as on the fence about it because it is a big investment but ai absolutely love the concentrator. It's allowing me to be more active and get out if the house more. I'd highly recommend this company. I ordered the concentrator in the afternoon and ai received it in 2 days which I feel was fast shipping. They're product is made in the USA and serviced in the USA. It came with a 30 day trial period and then a full 3 year warranty. This has opened the door to more independence for me. I'm in my 30's and ai was really missing out on life with my friends. I'm so grateful that I had fabulous experience and ability to make this dream come true because I've been wanting one for at least 5 years if not longer. I'd highly recommend this company to anyone needing a piece of durable medical equipment.
I bought a oxygen concentrator from them and it was still under warranty. They charged to send it in. They charge for returning too. They have had it since may 5th and not a word from them. I called 10 times and never received a response from them on the status of my repair. Stay away from this company. Their service is horrible and you will save some heart ache in the future. Buyer beware!

The customer service at this company is awful. I have spent many hours on hold trying to resolve an issue without success for my mother. They do not return calls or follow through with their promises. They do not seem to grasp that the devices they sell are critical to their customers ability to live. I wonder how many customers have suffocated due to their callous disregard.
If you're buying an Inogen then buy directly from Inogen. If you're buying a Caire then buy from The Oxygen Concentrator Store (that is where Caire, Inc. directs its customers). Do not buy from 1st Class Medical. The first machine they sent me was dirty and the motor stopped working and the alarm went off within the first 1/2 hour. Sent that back. The replacement machine worked, but they did not fulfill the purchase of the external charger plus neither the carrying case nor backpack fit the machine, all of which I needed to travel. Had to return machine, but they kept $90 in shipping fees for the first broken machine, $90 for the return of the unfulfilled 2nd machine and an additional $99 restocking fee. All which had never been disclosed until after the fact. Also beware that they said that the first machine worked after I sent it back so I am sure that some poor customer was sent a defective machine. And all of us with breathing issues know the danger in that. Run!
Tip for consumers:
Go elsewhere.

Returned two Portable Oxygen Concentrators. One machine was defective. The other order was incomplete.
My mother has COPD and purchased the rhythm healthcare p2 oxygen concentrator. After 7 months of use it is making terrible noises and has an alarm that will not stop. The alarm warning states that O2 is less than 87%. After contacting 1st class medical; they informed me that the concentrator was under warranty & it would take 4-6 weeks to repair. In the meantime we can rent a loaner for $390. My mother is still making payments on the P2 and is on Medicare/social security. How do you expect for her to pay for this as well. Why should she have to rent a unit while still paying for the original one. Plus it's under warranty!

My gce portable concentrator broke after just a few months
Have to wait half a year to get it back company does not want to give me a free rental in the meantime
First class medical or cheeks and beats I tried to steal my money with bad service in Matthews one of a kind yes don't do business with them it'll take you to the cleaners
They have different companies every time I called a different company I was under cut one person offered me one price and then I called another company do you want from me another price and I found out they were under the same company and also the previous owner also was behind bars and now he runs his business what a scam
I am very disappointed with this machine. The battery lasts for only an hour on a 1 liter flow.
I can't go anywhere and be back in an hour - so how am I supposed to be able to go anywhere
using this......plus it is heavier than my big e tanks are!
I have tried to call Celena Grace but never have bee. able to get her on the phone.
I need to take a trip and need a portable concentrator this week end and all I'm getting is a run around.
If I don't get a call ASAP I want to cancel my order.
Fortunately, Vincent reached out to me a couple weeks ago with an email after I was checking out new products on your web site for portable oxygen concentrators. We had purchased one 5 or 6 years ago, the Activox.
So, today we decided to reach out to Vincent because my husband has been interested in the concentrator that your company now carries. Win/Win!
Thank you Vincent for your expertise, patience and pleasant personality. We wish you the best in life!

My dad has not had this machine a year yet, and it is not working again. This is the second time. He sent it back about 3 months ago ($90) and had to rent one till this one was fixed ($100). Now it is doing the same thing again. He only use's it 2 to 3 hours a day.
I purchased my POC from 1st medical and was very satisfied with the process. But less than12 months later I had an issue with it. I called the manufacturer and they told me to deal with who I bought it from. 1 st class medical. I called them on 3 separate occasions and was told someone would get back with me. Still waiting.
I called the manufacturer back and they have been very helpful and prompt trying to get my POC sent back and serviced. 1 st class medical was great through the selling process but now that I need service, I can't get any from them.

Disappointed because carrying case is way to small to use.
GREETINGS,
MY NAME IS NORMAN FONG. MY PHONE NUMBER IS *******675 IN SACRAMENTO, CA. U.S.A. I AM ORDERING A PORTABLE OXYGEN UNIT FOR MY UNCLE WHO LIVES IN CANADA. MY EXPERIENCE HAS BEEN VERY GOOD THUS FAR.
THANK YOU.
pleased we were able to agree on a price. I am pleased to be able to get the machine I want at a price that seems reasonable.
I find your sales process a bit annoying.
You call my phone repeatedly when I am in meetings or sleeping even when I have clearly indicated i would prefer contact by email or text.
You send emails with offers but never mention if the machines are new or used or what warranty is included.
Chris was very helpful in my issue after the fact....he helped me as much as he could in his position.. and I do appreciate that, however, I am not happy with the company per say... in that I had to pay to return (per a rep I spoke with earlier on the phone when I called to report my issue) I was told to get my own box, pay to return and then I would have to pay to have it shipped back to me!
The machine was defective, I believe a compressor/ motor issue (only 6 mo's old) and not happy that I will not get very much back on it to go towards replacement(exchange item) .. Your website states "no shipping to you" to return an item and a loaner will be provided so you are not without Oxygen,..however, it doesn't say that you have to pay over $300 for the loaner.. which is ridiculous..especially when the machine issue is covered under warranty and the item became defective. Not very happy. I feel all of this is false advertisement. I DID have to go without oxygen... for over a week..( luckily I am only on 2 liters at night and PRN) I purchased a stationary unit but had to wait for it to be shipped to me, otherwise I would still be without oxygen and who knows how long you would have my machine. the rep that I spoke with said at least 2 weeks or longer. I am not a happy camper as they say... Now when all is said and done.. I have spent over $4000 on a portable unit... totally unacceptable, but what can I do? $2095 on the 1st one and $2120 on the replacement( exchange) all out of my own pocket just to breathe and this cost doesn't include the cost of my stationary unit. :( Geesh!!!!!!!!!!!
I have been trying for at least eight months. My mom needs one. She has been fighting with the heavy ones long enough.
Had to wait a few minutes for your online system to get up and running today but otherwise very happy
My 1st Class Medical associate was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the products. He help me find the correct unit for my needs at a very good price. Over the last few weeks that we have been in communication Barrett Barkman was patient, respectful and cheerful. I really appreciated his assistance.
I have to say so far, my experience with your company has been great, you had no problem answering any of my questions professionally. Thank you
Curtis is very helpful. I enjoy following your Facebook page and getting the variety of information regarding health and well for those with COPD.... being in my emails. Thank you. I James
