Really upset about this as are many others. I got a quote and received packaging, everything seemed legit like other company's I've used (like Gazelle, which is the real deal) so I didn't even question it and sent them my phone. Now the website is gone and no one answers the phones. There has to be some sort of way to take legal action! I can't imagine how many phones they have stolen.

Man I wished I had checked this site before using this scam of a business! I have only gotten one email that they received my device... no other communicating. No response to my emails and pre recorded crap about calling outside of business hours!? How can they just keep people's phones? Filed a complaint with BBB and looking at other avenues. Hopefully a class action or something... sooooo pissed off!

Sell-your-cell.com quoted $338 for my (64 gig) iPhone 6 Plus and upon receipt they emailed me a $30 offer! I immediately emailed them declining the offer and demanded my iPhone be returned. Then I called them to do the same and was told it was recycled and the best they could do was an additional $25. WTF! I'm beyond pissed but don't know what I can do. It is obvious this is standard procedure! Solutions anyone?

From what i found out this company has been turned over to FTC (Federal Trade Commission) That is why no one is answering phone and no response from emails. They have been having a lot of complaints from this company and four other websites they run. From what i found out they where shut down last Thursday 9-29-16. They received my iphone 6 plus the day b4 ther is a possibility FTC will return our devices but who knows. I would file a complaint to the FTC to make sure you are documented and hopefully get what we deserve!

First online quote for Samsung S6 Active $360.00. Used less than 40 days out of box. Excellent condition. Takes them a few days after they receive it to notify me it's value is $50.00. Unacceptable. Call them, they come up to $150.00. Received prompt payment. Not a big fan myself. Could have gotten more probably any other way. LOL.

They give you an offer which is bait for customers to go with them and then when they receive and a month later they will email you and say that there was a crack or damage to phone (which mine was in excellent condition). Received $7 for the iPhone. This company is fraud. Sooner or later this company will get sued because what they are doing is fraud and illegal. JUST DON'T DO IT

I know... Seller Beware... quoted $500 for 1 practically brand new phone and a tablet... ended up with $150... only because I told them I had dated video when they claimed both had cracked screens... making a complaint with the Nevada Attorney General... not expecting much... but causing them any trouble will make me feel better.

False advertising, bait and switch marketing, phony disclosure of manipulative bookkeeping devices, unconscionable pricing, and charging for services never provided are some of the many unfair and deceptive practices rogue corporations use to defraud consumers. These deceptive business practices also distort the marketplace by allowing dishonest businesses to gain an unfair advantage over ethical competitors. State and federal laws, however, provide consumers with broad protection from unfair and illegal business practices. Contact me *******@*******912 and leave a good number to get back to u with brief description of your loss with this company!,

According to sell-your-cell's website, they offered $140 for my iPhone 5 in "good" condition. I sent in the phone, they evaluated it and paid me $22. When I called, they said it had small scratches on the back of the phone and on the screen (which I doubt since it had a screen protector and was handled carefully), but they offered to pay me an additional $22. So they took me for $96. I should have checked these reviews first.

I got an estimate for my iPhone 5s for $110. So I sent the phone in. They emailed me once saying that my phone was locked, and because of that I had to call them. When I called them they said it was to late and sent me a $7 check. I said I wanted my phone back and they said no. It's policy and to make it right they would send me another $7 check. I would never use them again. I've used gazelle before a couple times and never had an issue. Stay away from this horrible company.

Sorry I didn't review this before I got sent a new phone in. Lets not let anyone else be scammed by them. Please contact the your Attorney General. The more register complaints the better my chances for getting a motion seeking a class action lawsuit. Which means they will have to pay all the consumers what they advertised. Please check back to this site can continue to post your experience about them. The company is owed by Brain Lemper and Jeffery Wyatt. Until the Class Action is filed you can also sue them yourself for deceptive practices.

Do not send anything to sell your cell. They ripped me off and the police are currently investegating them. In addition, I look forward to finding these individuals in person as well. They live in Sparks Nevada and i have their addresses. Payback sucks.

I wish I would have read the reviews earlier! This is a COMPLETE scam! I had an estimate of $120 and they just emailed saying I'm getting $7 back! The only thing wrong was it wouldn't turn on. EVERYTHING else was in perfect condition, not even a SCRATCH on the screen or any other faults on the phone. I am LIVID.

I typically am very generous and positive when I submit online reviews. That being said, this website is a scam:

I sent them an iPhone 5, that was in mint condition, and I only used for 9 months. The website said they were currently paying out $124 for the phone. They were going for $130-150 on eBay at the time, so I took the easy route and sent it in to the Sell-Your-Cell. I received an email back a week later saying they deposited $5 into my account. Not just an undervalue, but a slap in the face. Stay away from this website!

I completed their form, and was told my phone was worth $110. I mailed them the phone, and got an email saying they were sending me $7! What a complete ripoff! And apparently, I'm not the only one who has had the same experience. Just wish I would have known before doing business with these con artists. AVOID THIS COMPANY!

This company is a total scam. The bait you in then try and rob you. When you send them your phone they alter it without your permission, and when you complain the refuse to respond to you. Terrible company with no reputable people working for them. I would give them zero stars if that was an option. Terrible terrible terrible!

Being paid less than 1/3 of quote, ok fine... But now you're going to take WEEKS to disburse my payment?! Use somebody else, anyone has got to be better than these clowns...

Two thumbs down. Would give a half star if possible.

Negative zero stars! I wish I would've read the reviews. What a bunch of crooks! I sent them 3 IPhones, in perfect condition. Online was getting over 200$ for the phones. I received one check for 9$ and another for 12$ and the other check is missing in action. Then get this! The check cashing place refuses to cash these checks claiming they don't do business with this bull$#*! company.

I sent them my Samsung Galaxy Note 5 last week. They received it on Wednesday morning and I haven't received any emails about an offer or what I was quoted. Every time I try to call the phone number, it goes straight to the pre recorded message every single time! I've never had a problem with them until now. I've sent them a couple phones before and was paid for them. But this time there is no communication whatsoever! They quoted me $374 for my Note 5 and now I don't have my phone nor the money that is owed to me! I will be filing a class action suit against them!

The worst of the worst. Complete and total scam company. Quoted $108, sent only $8. Can you believe it? An iPhone5s for $8... and they did the $108 IN WRITING! But since they are in Nevada, there is nothing you can do unless you want to fly to Nevada to file charges. They musty know this and keep operating this way. The Feds should shut them down!

Got a quote for $100 and once iPhone 5 was sent got a notice that they will only pay $5 when the phone met all the requirements they listed. No doubt they operate out of Nevada so that can scam with freedom. Stay away.
