Satoshidice has been a big player in the online Bitcoin casino industry for quite some time now. I remember the good times when they first opened and I was able to win some Bitcoin pretty easily. I let it sit in my account with Satoshidice because I wanted to take a break from playing online. When I logged back in almost a year later and tried to make a few plays I realized that things were not as they used to be with the winning ratio and I decided to withdraw my balance and deposit. To be honest, I did not remember what my initial deposit was but this is beside the point. After I submitted the withdrawal request, Satoshidice decided to start jerking me around. First, they told me that because my account was inactive for a while, I would have to go through some kind of stupid verification process. Then the ticket would be escalated to the management for review. All because I did not log in for about a year. Without doing this stuff I would have no access to my Bitcoin. This is such a scam! Only scammers would stoop so low! Bitcoin is supposed to be about anonymity and I was being asked to provide a bunch of information, which would then be looked at by way too many people. I refused and my account was locked almost immediately. I have no idea what to do now and who to contact. I want my Bitcoin back, but these thieves are not willing to release the money. I sent out a million emails trying to reach someone in support but so far I haven’t heard anything back from anybody at all. It seems like Satoshidice just decided to keep my Bitcoin. Avoid these scammers at all costs!

When you first visit satoshidice.com you see the terms and conditions to which you should agree or disagree. This seems like a forced sign-up process that almost no other website has. This is a clear red flag for any first time visitor, but it wasn't for me. I ignored the agreement and decided to look around the site, to see what is it all about.

On satoshidice.com you place bets on the dice to be rolled, after you choose a number. Be careful that the site uses the bitcoin as currency. The robot chooses a lucky number that you cannot know, after rolling the dice. To win, your number must be higher than the lucky number chosen by the robot. This sounds easy and fair enough, doesn't it? I did think so as well, so I made an account after browsing the site a few times. Of course I had my doubts about the whole thing, but everyone does before they try something out for the first time, therefore I didn't pay much attention to that. Maybe I should have.

I had to give my email address upon creating the account, just like with many other websites. However, now I regret ever doing so. I first received a welcoming message from the site, with a link to it and I of course clicked it. Everyone would have clicked it, right? Well, OK, maybe some people out there wouldn't have, and I wish I was one of them. The next day I discovered both my inbox and spam folders full of various suspicious looking emails. Some of them were from dating or casino websites, others from multiple banks saying I owe them thousands of US Dollars, and some in which I was asked flat out for hundreds of Euros by some people claiming to have some sort of financial problem. Let me clear one thing out: I only have one email account and I mostly use it for work, and communicating with certain people I know for a long time.

I first thought my son played some sort of trick on me, but after a few days of thinking and investigation I came to one conclusion: satoshidice.com and the people behind it did it. I just can't believe I almost fell victim to a scam of epic proportions. You guys reading this now, do not give your email address to this satoshidice.com as the aftermath nerve wrecking week is really not worth it.

When my friends speak about Bitcoin betting games and casino sites I usually stay out of the conversation. I personally am not a big believer in gambling and gambling's techniques. Something changed when one of my friends made a big win and actually managed to withdraw the money he won. My incredulity was somehow won over. I took my friends' advices and started betting on some of the biggest Bitcoin websites.
Satoshidice quickly became one of my favorite online betting websites. It is simple and with well established reputation. It has no front end interface and its betting occurs directly on the transaction network. It offers most of the famous casino games and the betting is really simple process to handle. It offers no bonuses or promotions and doesn't require any kind of registration. For a newbie like me that looked very promising. I wasn't ready yet to commit myself through big deposits and accounts.
After a while I manage to make some small winnings and started to place more bets. All my questions were answered by their customer support service until I decided to withdraw my winnings and close my account. I just got tired of gambling and needed some different kind of excitement in my life. It wasn't anything personal against the site. That is why their response to my actions was so surprising. Indeed, in no time my account was closed and I wasn't able to get to my Bitcoin. According to their no so polite anymore customer service there was some problem with the way I played. I never received a good explanation about the real nature of the problem and the truth is I become tired of it all.
Satoshidece managed to convince me to stay forever away from Bitcoin gaming sites. I think of myself as an honest person, so if there was really some wrong dealing from my side, I will have accepted the blame. What I do not accept is to be treated as a stupid person, unable to fight for his rights. They can have my money, but I will never again visit or use their scam site. And what is more, I will continue to tell to all those who want to hear what a scam website Satoshidice really is.
