Ordered flowers a week before for Mother's Day. Received an email 3:00 PM on Mother's Day that they ran out of flowers. Their only suggestion was to send flowers a day late. I've never experience such pathetic unprofessional people- I will NEVER order from them again and suggest anyone looking for reliability STAY AWAY. Oh- and I told them they should refund my order, and send flowers as an apology the next day (which any other upstanding florist would do... But they refused). Pretty disgusting behavior by a company.
My husband ordered flowers the 19th to be delivered the 21st for my birthday and they didn't show up. He contacted customer service and they couldn't find the order, then wait they did find it and offered a refund or an enhanced arrangement, he opted for the enhanced arrangement and it was finally delivered on the 23rd. Big mistake, he should have taken the refund. The flowers were cheap for the price he paid and just bunched in a vase and was one sided. I'm not sure what the enhancement was, but this arrangement was very poor quality and to be 2 days late is unacceptable. I know how this works, I used to manage a flower shop and I know quality and the price of flowers. Never again will we use this service. We have asked that they come and pick up the arrangement I don't want it. It is a sad representation of a gift from my husband.
I wish that I could find how I even got hooked up with this company. They took my order, took my money, never delivered saying the delivery truck could not make the delivery two days in a row. Cancelled the order - and then found this site where so many people were also ripped off. My bank has cancelled the order, but I hope these people can be STOPPED! I am so angry.

I'm writing on behalf of an Official Government Establishment in D. C. I placed an order for flowers bouquet to our colleague who just had a new born baby, I ordered it on Sept 6th and I was assured for delivery on the 7th! I checked with my colleague and she said no delivery was made and today is the 12th.
So I call, and the shop lady didn't even know that that delivery truck had some delays apparently! Of course, they wanted to re-deliver it by adding more flowers? This is very embarrassing and unprofessional not following up on people's orders with this amount of money that I paid about $140.
But this is the last time I order flowers from them, and the worst part is they didn't contact me to apologize or provide me a reason for the delay! A Whole freaking week and no call or notifications via email.
I don't recommend this place at alllll.

I wish I had found this site earlier. I had 2 gift baskets sent to good friends who lost a family member in an accident. No order confirmation as promised, was hung up on when I tried calling, put on hold and no one ever came back to the line. I ordered these gifts for same-day delivery on feb 17th - still not sure if anything got delivered, or if so, what poor excuse for gift baskets was sent. I tried to shop local - this website even had an address with it - 334 Victoria St in Sudbury... Google mapping the location turned up some old house, not anything like a store. Wasted hours of time and emotional energy and money on this. I'm hoping Karma is as real as they say it is. Worst experience shopping online in my life.
Same as others... out in an order and never received it. Then got the run around. Was told the delivery truck was delayed. Then when i waited another hour and called back, 12 times to be exact, i was hung up on each time i asked about my delivery. Then I finally got someone on the phone 5 days later. She refused to let me speak with a supervisor and told me i had been refunded. No I have not. I also got someone on a chat session and they told me the flowers were out of stock and sold out. Yet they lied about the delivery being made and no one contacted me. Liars and thieves. Stay away!
Said they would deliver same day which was the recipient's birthday. Never came. Called and they said they would deliver. Never came in next two business days. Then called again. They said they must have been delivered to the wrong address. We have good neighbours. They would not accept someone else's flowers! Said they would re-deliver. Again nothing. Asked for money back and it then took 2 weeks for them to refund. Aarrgghhh!
I ordered flower arrangement for my lovely girlfriend. Localblossom is very friendly user, the site is easy to navigate. Their chat representative is very helpful, she helped me process my order. My girlfriend got the flowers on time as promised. My girlfriend and I were so happy about the result, by the way the flowers were beautiful. Highly recommended.
I ordered some flowers to be sent to my wife for a special occasion and I never received a confirmation number or any receipt saying that my order was processed, but my credit card was charged. I called and asked them where the confirmation was and I got the run around and then put on hold, they never came back in the line. When I tried to call back multiple times they wouldn't pick up. I got extremely frustrated and tried to dispute the charges with my credit card company because I knew it was a scam. My suspicions were confirmed when they emailed me saying the delivery guy forgot to deliver it and it was total bs. Also, they asked me for my personal information all over again and my card info, which I didn't give them because this has fraud written all over it. These websites are all clones of <inserts city name>flowers.net. The merchant that received the money is AO Flowers basically the mama website or something. I visited several of its carbon copy scam websites. I am currently disputing this transaction with my credit card company.
Very same experience as those in previous reviews. Promised a same day order, never arrived - I called, they said the next morning 100%, I said ok, flowers never arrived - called again, they gave me some story about a delivery truck disappearance, asked to deliver flowers the following day, I said no (as the person's birthday was now 3 days past). I asked for refund which I had to fight for, called everyday for over a week - finally, got a confirmation via email and now waiting for the correct amount to show up as a refund on my VISA. I wish I would've seen this forum sooner but these sneaky individuals have changed their website and operate also under bramptonflowers.net. So much for supporting the "little guy" in small business! Seems to be a dishonest bunch running things here, stay away!
I ordered flowers for my daughter's 30th birthday. I live in BC and she lives in Calgary. Not knowing which florist was best I ended up on Local Blossom's website. I phoned in the order - giving them at least 4 or 5 days so they could get it right. I had asked for 2 balloons - one Happy Birthday, the other #30. "Oh yes Mam, no problem Mam!". Secondly I asked for an early morning delivery, preferably around 10:00. I was asked for my email address so they could send me a receipt, which I never got. Long story short - both balloons said Happy Birthday, not what I wanted. The delivery did happen but was late. The flower arrangement was definitely NOT worth the $$ charged and the flowers died within a couple of days. Having worked at a nursery I know how to take care of cut flowers and so does my daughter so that wasn't the issue. The flowers were not fresh! When I called and then emailed my complaints I got a lot of excuses but no satisfaction. I would NOT recommend this company to anyone. I was very disappointed and overcharged.
I would love to give this 'business' 0 stars. I ordered two flower arrangements for the passing of a friends mother and lo and behold one arrangement was never delivered! Forget the fact that we missed the chance to pay our respects (which is the worst part of all this) but I've yet to receive my money back! I've called over and over and over and each time I'm promised a refund which never arrives! A family member (who I purchased the flowers on behalf of) went to their address and found an empty lot! So I'm not sure what kind of scam they're running but DEFINITELY DEFINITELY stay away from this web site and order your flowers from a more reputable place.

To the previous reviewer, they also told me the driver had a terrible accident and went to the hospital. This was before they realized that a delivery was made, but what was delivered was nothing like what I had ordered. I feel bad for the florist that they called that was a full hour away from the delivery location near Sudbury because they got scammed as well. STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS. THEIR ADDRESS IS A CONDO IN THORNHILL.
Never use this company. Never! I ordered flowers and they said they would be delivered by 5p. They never arrived and gave the EXACT same story named in another review, that the driver had been in an accident... I cancelled the order, and had to fight for a refund, they then refunded but shorted me $5.00 after sending me a receipt showing they were refunding the full amount.
6.5 hours later I get a call saying they didn't have someone there at that place of work to receive the flowers. After I gave specific instructions that would've ensured my wife received her flowers on the 1st day of work. Very poor service, they customer service representative proceeded to hang up on me when I asked for a refund. I called to customer service, to have an answering machine pick up, i'll likely never hear back, nor never have another "1st day at a new job" thanks LocalBlossom you are scam! I will be seeking my refund and will see how that goes... The positive posts on here are clearly LocalBlossom representatives.

Didnt deliver flowers, didnt refund money until I called twice. When I tried contacting them over chat they would leave the chat as soon as i told them I wanted a refund.
I ordered flowers for same day delivery from this company. I talked to them on the phone and was assured that the flowers would be delivered by 5PM that day. I hadn't received confirmation that they were delivered, or word from the recipient, so I called the company as soon as they opened. They informed me immediately (before pulling up the order) that the delivery driver had gotten into an accident and had gone to the hospital. They then stated they could have the flowers sent out that day which I agreed to. I called later that day to check on the order and the rep told me the flowers were out for delivery. The next day I received an email asking if I wanted them to make an arrangement and deliver it, so apparently the other representative I talked to lied about the flowers being out for delivery. I asked them to cancel the order and refund my money and haven't heard back. We'll see if I get my money back.
Placed an order and paid through Paypal (Thank God!)... immediately after, I get an email stating that it's too far for them to deliver so they're cancelling the order and I should be my money back in 10 days. Well that took a MONTH and only after I lodged a dispute claim through Paypal! I find it very hard to believe that this is a legitimate site.
I had ordered flowers from here on April 30th to be delivered to my mother on Friday May 8th for Mother's Day! The order never showed! When I called, the woman on the phone was SO RUDE! And said something like " the flowers were left at the shop..." and basically asked me what I wanted... after minutes of bull$#*! conversation, I was told the flowers would then be delivered that day (Saturday the 9th). Well, guess what... NO FLOWERS! So now, I have ruined the surprise by having to ask my mother if she had received them AND a second time no show! I called AGAIN Sunday morning. I was GUARANTEED they would be delivered by noon as my mother was leaving for the day to go see her mother for Mother's Day. At 12:37pm... STILL NO FLOWERS! I called them and this is what she said to me..." you need to understand that it is a busy time" and the line disconnected! REALLY?!?!?!?!?! I wrote an email saying how disrespectful and unprofessional this was and said that I will dispute ANY AND ALL charges that would appear on my credit card... the reponse... CANCEL CONFIRMED! Good luck keeping your business! It won't be much longer now, I am sure of it!
I ordered from this site to deliever some flower to my wife on May 30 for my 14th anniversary. The delivery day they called me at 3:00 pm to tell me that they couldn't deliver my order because they didn't have the flowers I ordered. They say that they might be able to send them the following day. I cancel the order and as of today I have not received the corresponding reimbursement in my credit card. Save yourself some headaches and use someone else!
HORRIBLE! I ordered flowers for my fiance for valentines day. The arrangement was less than impressive... very small. And they double billed me. I tried calling them repeatedly about the billing and they did not answer. They also did not respond to email. I had to go through my credit card company to get a refund.

Early morning on 2011 Valentine's day, I've put an order through localblossom's web site to send flowers to my girlfriend. The day went by and they never delivered the flowers. I had to chase them online and over the phone to finally get someone to tell me over their online chat that they weren't able to deliver the flowers because they had taken too many orders. They told me they couldn't deliver the flowers at 6h00 PM. It was now too late for me to even get someone else to deliver flowers. They offered to deliver the flowers within the next day or so at the same cost! They didn't even offer a discount of any kind!
I've ordered flowers online many times and this is the worst service I've ever received. I will never order from them again and I highly discourage anyone to support a company that has such bad business practices and poor customer service.
