I have played this game since 2015. At first, people were very nice and social. Now as an adult, people are so mean and nasty to you. You basically get booted out of rooms for having normal conversations with people. On top of that, people park there all the time. Nobody actually respects you there. Owners don't really care about if you're getting harassed or bullied. If the bully is their friends, they'll just boot you. If they can make the game user friendly, I'd play more.

I prefer to watch girls live on J4Sex.com and sometimes I get to meet some of them for real (it's possible to arrange it with some of the girls and that's always a lifetime experience every time I go on such a date). Just avoid IMVU. It's bait-and-switch. You'll exchange a few standard canned messages with bots and then these "girls" are nowhere to be found. IMVU is sleazy, phony and tricky. It's not worth a dime. They overcharge you from the first payment. They automatically sign up you for their sister sites against your consent and those sites overcharge you too. Their customer support must be based on Mars, they are simply unreachable. You have to close your bank card to stop these recurring payments.

It was overall good I like meeting new people but when someone takes your account or it gets disabled and you connect them about it's like you never get it back they never answer you I feel like they should work on that I have spent and gave imvu so much money just for it to be striped from me.

IMVU IS TERRIBLE. The customer service does not care. The reporting system does not work. There are hundreds of users that expose/doxx other users, harrass them, bully them etc. I've seen so many situations where users have been known to self harm after/during using this platform. They only care about money! They disable top seller creators that use their platform as a second source of income, without any kind of warning etc. They will disable you without paying you even if you have an amount of earnings left with them. They don't care! They are heartless, money hungry people! I've been trying to reach out repeatedly. They disabled my top seller creator account for a faulty reason without any warning or worthy enough explanation. I had over 2000$ in my earnings. Where is my money imvu! I will literally push this to court. Return my account, stop stealing from hard working people. I don't know if they are racist or what because they literally have creators doing exactly the things that they say to NOT do on their TOS and they get warning after warning, bypass after bypass etc instead of immediate disablement. Imvu does not care that they are Damaging livelihoods

Honestly Paying for this game is addictive which made me go against buying stuff in the first place,I literally had to take my stuff out of Google because of the charging fee... ridiculous

I have reported an account for harassment multiple times but it has never been taken down when reaching out directly IMVU ignores users and forces them to just keep reporting and reporting even if these accounts give out their personal information and tell them to harm themselves they don't accept photo evidence of cyberbullying. They have failed me.

IMVU is dodgy! J4Sex.com is safer. I never had any financial problems with them. Also they never had any security breaches (something that happens regularly on IMVU). IMVU steal your bank information and misuse it. They automatically sign you up for their sister sites and in a month or so they put unauthorized charges on your card, basically stealing your money. They could have been a great porn site, if they hadn't messed things up because of their extreme greed.

Give some free credit so we can buy stuff and look better. Less expensive stuff for to look good then second life. More support from imvu. Recommended. No need to pay for land and can have many room as possible.

I've had an account on IMVU off and on since the client first started. It was never intended to be for children or young teenage base. Originally known for its virtual reality and the ability to date others (Instant Messaging Virtual Universe) IMVU is just what it sounds like... envy. Since growing with the client, I've noticed it has quickly sunk through the site being slowly directed to a young audience. How did it get to this point? There were times you could bond with others virtually, make long term friendships and join club type groups. You could hang around and hold conversations about almost anything. Granted communication has become easier over the years, instead of silent chats and I do appreciate that the rooms are friendlier than quick boots. Should you let your kids on this client? If they are over 18, responsible and taught caution when interacting with strangers. Is it for children? NO!

IMVU banned me for the third time. There is one huge and appalling problem on IMVU: they like to ban your account after you make a purchase. Their customer service is dreadful, it's kind of non-existing.

Im going to rate it a 1 as it seems they take forever to respond back even after you respond back immediately to them and you can even have 1 single public room if you are not vip... they want all this money but take all the time they want assisting people...

You can't even enjoy this game I've been hacked then reported for my identity then my rooms weren't working after paying a lot of credits for it agents couldn't figure out nor fix the issue and now my account is down for false payments never again will I install this app I believe it's the company of imvu hacking accounts and taking peoples money smh

Full of pedophiles waiting to groom children even when they give there age as under 16...keep your children well away from this app it's dangerous...

I tried contacting vu but it take for ever to get back to me. I had this account for 4 months because my other account was banned.

I miss how shops used to be. Where we can shop and the the room is dark. I also miss that if we dance in shop and someone changes it won't stop others from dancing.

The attached images will speak for themselves. Betrayal is putting it lightly. They don't care about you. They only care about your money. I was locked out of my account, and blamed for the fact that someone had sent fraudulent sites with my account. Do not trust this corporation. When the going gets tough, they will stab you in the back with a gloved hand.

It was ok I made some friends on there, but it got. Very boring. The rooms were glitchy and don't even get me started on the app.

IMVU has gotten a little better but still needs a lot improvement the touching inappropriately with others got to stop unless u going for rated x than u should change it to single adults only no children or people in relationships should not be there we shouldn't pay actual money for others to touch our avatars inappropriately without our consent what I luv hh no body can touch us unless they are on your friends list I think this will solve a lot of problems with no costs that's why people are mainly complaining u have it pg version when it's not IMVU is fake advertising too much inappropriate stuff still I get it's a game but u have children on here thinking it's ok to touch random people like this that's why I have problems irl at work I do retail they think this game is real u can blame the parents all u want but u guys are half to blame too

This site is nothing but drama and cyber bullying. It's full of little kids posing as adults who can't tell the difference between real life and fantasy. Also there is no good customer service. No matter what you do to stop harassment or fix problems imvu staff won't ever take you seriously. Not only that but they expect you to buy VIP to live chat them. Completely stupid and a waste of time.

Chat supports are not-so-customer-service oriented at all. They just finding people's reason to ban, ridiculous reason. And took your money out of your card. They won't even bother refunding the on-hold purchases. Well, take my generous donations.
