I have been using G7 for a couple years now and they have been absolutely amazing in every aspect a company has. Their customer service is out of this world, and they are kind, friendly knowledgeable and have a speedy turn-around that helps us to get the job done faster for our customer. In the years I have been working with them we have only had two modules that wound up not being repairable. When it was found that the modules would not be able to be repaired, they refunded my money no questions asked and gave me some helpful information as to why it was not repairable and if it was a good idea to try another rout of repair. I will absolutely be continuing to do business with G7 for the foreseeable future.

Tip for consumers:
The Variety of modules they work on is extensive.

I have repeatedly called & emailed this company, before sending ECU & after sending it. No one has ever answered the phone. I left msgs that have never been returned. I have tried the chat feature. No one answers. Sometimes a day or two later, I'll get response on chat that says how may we help you. I leave phone number & ask for a call. Nothing. It asked me to download chat app Tideo or similar, I did still only 1 answer which was how can we help you. Then after a few days, so said my free trial was over & I'd have to pay to use it! I'm sure it was a bot answering. I began to get really scared because I thought I was scammed. I went onto maps, saw photo of the place & looked up the police precinct for that area because I was going to have the police see if this was a closed or legal business. Well today my ECU arrives at my house. Good turnaround speed. However, this is beyond weird! The part is all shrink wrapped so sure it must be fixed or why bother with that, but there's no ticket, no receipt, no letter telling me anything! I thought surely I'd get a letter like another customer posted photo of, but zero, nothing, nada! They may be legit, but they truly suck at communication! I want a receipt & info about the repair, please! Don't tell me to email you because you don't answer. My name is Carol Teal & I sent a $275 money order, I'm sick I didn't use my bank card in case there is an issue. I received the ECU today, Tues Dec 7 shipped to Hudson, FL. I will call you in a few minutes & leave another message with my phone number & address in Hudson. I want a phone call back. If I don't answer, leave a message about what you did to fix it & mail me a receipt. I drive a school bus so can't answer if I'm driving but you can leave a 2 min message. Thank you & look forward to speaking to a real person!

Tip for consumers:
That they do not answer calls or emails, chat service does not work, and there's no communication with business. I'm totally shocked to receive no letter explaining what my problem was, if it's fixed, & definitely a receipt! I'm only guessing it was fixed due to it being all wrapped up & there was no refund included. But this is just a guess

This company surprised me I received my ECU back from them and it was still malfunctioning. When I contacted them and they told me they would rebuild the ECU again and give me a complete refund they just wanted a satisfied customer. Thank you G7 Computers

Sent in a BCM and was notified by email that a component was changed but never saw any test results. Installed BCM back to car and no change. Contacted them by email and was told it might be a latent problem and to send it back for them to try again. BCM returned and still not working. Was told I would receive a refund but several weeks later that has yet to happen.

Did get a refund. Not easy to communicate with this company. Always use PayPal or credit cards when ordering online. They will clawback your money if you're not satisfied with your purchase. Debit cards offer no protection. Never send checks. If your credit card is rejected just move on.

First time I sent it they said they could not find a problem with the computer
So I put it back in my vehicle and it still didn't work. They asked me to send it back to them for a 2nd look and was told they did not find anything wrong with the computer. Needless to say it still did not work when I installed it into my vehicle. Bought a brand new computer and it worked immediately. I was out $40 in postage and wasted time. They did refund my $200 though

Don't use G7 computers. They are bogus

BEWARE THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM! ZERO STARS!

SCAM ALERT! This company is an absolute scam. First off, they state "Free Testing (If no faults are found then you get a full refund)" Then they just say, oh there was nothing wrong with your unit, but it had a software error and we re-flashed the firmware, so we're keeping your money. Total SCAM.

And when they returned my TCU stating there was nothing wrong with it, I believed them. I spent hours upon hours going through all of the tests in the Shop Manual, pulling apart wiring harnesses looking for shorts or opens, taking apart grounds and cleaning them, etc.

I was about to give up and I decided to get a used TCU off ebay AND GUESS WHAT? All of the issues are gone!

BEWARE THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM!

G7 Computers did a great job repairing my ECM in my 2003 Lexus LS 430. I recommend them to anyone and everyone who are experiencing issues with their ECM, ECU, or TCM. G7 Computers always keep their word and work in a speedy fashion. Outstanding job.Thank you.

I sent a module to G7 computers, after i paid $275 for fixing! They sent it back after 2weeks, and the letter stated: "the module tested fine, no mechanical issues, didnt have to take it apart, but they updated the software, should be fine"
After i installed the car was doing the same problem what i sent it in for. I tried to get a full refund bc on thei website shows, this months deal is FREE INSPECTION.
They dont send back the money, because "they worked on it" - verey bad custumer service, my experience is, i think are scammers!

If you wonder why any positive reviews referring to customer service or communications are obviously fakes because -if they merely did as advertised, there wouldn't be a need for communicating with these useless hustlers. A 1 day turnaround as advertised, why would anyone have to call them. They can't communicate since they never ever answer their phone. Before getting ripped off by these scammers, try calling for yourself. They claimed to ship my part overnight than 2 days later asked for my address. I saved all the emails of these embarrassing con-men. It took 5 overnights and 2 weeks to get back my part was untouched. I sent it back, simply cuz my customer is now paying the auto storage and has affiliates in the local area, but need a reason to collect reimbursement. All they had to do was as they advertised. They can't even show a test result or mail a letter

It doesn't get any better than G7 Computers when it comes to customer service and professionalism. Unfortunately my DME is throwing an intermittent fault that would be difficult if not impossible to diagnose without having the physical vehicle but G7 was quick to issue a full refund as stated in their terms. Customer service is very responsive and was a outstanding company to work with. I would not hesitate to use them again. Thank you!

Hello world, over one month ago I sent my computer from my 2007 Saab to G7 computer repair in New York, I have left many voice messages to the number *******179, I wanted to speak to someone to verify if my computer got there and to see if this company is even alive, I never received any calls or emails, It has been well over a month now, I call but get no answer and no were, I'm in the prosses of filing A complaint but unfortunately that won't get my computer back..

Having been plagued with a CBR1100XX ECU failure that is a 20 year on-going issue with this motorcycle. I tried G7 because honestly no-one else on the planet can fix the issue and I expected the same from them. To my amazement and delight they were able to fix the issue in a 24 hour turnaround. Very reasonable prices, professional service and everything they claimed on their site was true- no gimmicks, no let downs. Thank you G7!

Tip for consumers:
Shipping to the company is on you they ship back for free. If they can't fix it they keep 25 dollars.

I would like to let everyone know that if you're questioning G7 services and reliability I would highly recommend them. I sent them a Tcm from a 2012 Chevy sonic, they sent it back with a detailed note stating the unit didn't have to be opened because hardware all tested OK. After I reinstalled it it did not work. I emailed them and they got back to me within 12 hours, they resolved the problem with a full refund. I had to purchase a new Tcm to repair auto. Thanks for the excellent service, they do back there work!

I just sent my computer in to get fixed. After four days I knew my computer got there but revived no notification or anything from the company. I sent emails and called but no reply to either. After four days they emailed me and just asked if I had been updated. Finally they sent me a message saying my package was shipping back. This company after many times never told me if it was bad after testing it or if they fixed anything. Anyway when I got the computer back yesterday there was water residue in the plug and grease cover the screws still. The case was never opened. I'm no computer tech but everytime I've been around fixing one I've never seen it magically done without opening it up. I am very upset with the customer service and very pleased to find out my computer was never fixed. I wonder if it was even touched. Looked like the boxes were just changed. So much for the false statements on the website of one day turn around.

Tip for consumers:
Pls do not use this sight. Don’t waste your time. It’s is a big hit or miss. Spend the extra hundred and buy a new computer and send your core in.

Couldn't fix my ECM. They did as promised and refunded my money. Sent the ECM in to Solo Electronics in Miami and they fixed it up great for less.

G7 has done exactly as advertised. Sent my BCM to them and received a prompt reply that my original had been received. Got another notice two days later saying the iteam had been repaired and was in the mail along with a tracking number. Turn-a-round is one week along with a note providing instructions on using the repaired part. I appreciate prompt cmmunications and G7 delivers. Obviously well managed and knows good customer service. Part yet to be installed but I'm betting on great resuts with this team. JB Greenwood SC

Dont wBCM. aste your time on other ways to get a working BCM. Have the original repaired by G7 and you know it will work.

I sent my body control module on January 3rd. It arrived in their shop on the 6th. I waited and waited no answer to phone calls or emails for 5 days. Finely they responded and said it was returned to their shop. They were going to send it UPS. Many days later nothing! I contacted them again. Told them again no package and no tracking number. They responded again many days later we can't find the tracking number. I'm starting to have a high speed come apart by now. Last Friday the 20th they send a tracking number from UPS. Package was not picked up on Friday the 20th. It's Monday the 23rd now and the package is still not picked up or taken to the shipper. I've been in business for 48 years and I have UPS and FedEx frequent my shop almost daily. These guys are full of it! In the business, I've called around to other service companies that repair these types of systems and they all said these guys are shady and they are a mess. I will be filing against G7 Computers if I don't see my repaired or replaced with full programming BCM for my $40,000 dollar truck. What they don't comprehend is the cost to replace, program and tow the vehicle to the dealership.
