Not a paid review. Long story short but a majority of places do not offer the maintenance coverage roadside assistance and other perks of leasing through fair. However if you're like me your credit is either poor or non-existent which means you won't qualify for most of those fancy lease deals that dealerships offer. That's where this app wins out. They will take a soft pull of your credit and if you have any repos

We were waiting for the shuttle to take us to the rental office and were the first family the driver acknowledged us and told us to wait. He went in and got a whole bunch more people who beat us the van, filled it and then left us 6 stranded for another 30 min. 2 seniors in the group could not walk fast enough and the driver didn't care. The car my son and daughter in law were given was awful. Taillight light falling off, no working USB ports, over 225,000 miles. Never again and beware. Not friendly staff and hard sell on the extras.

I was extremely hesitant to get my car through this new Fair app- but I tried it out and was pre-approved! So lo and behold I seen a 2017 Jeep Renegade and they had the exact color I wanted. Low start payment and decent monthly payments as well. Do what you can afford! Check-out took about 10 minutes and the next day I received an email saying Everything was good you're leasing it and can return the car when you're ready to get a new one! Very smart and love the idea!***"

I have not yet gotten a car with fair but still pretty good. I don't know if they have a suggestions box or something similar but I believe that would be very helpful for them. No one else has done this so I believe the best thing for them to do is listen to what the users have to say. For example their search options/bar is very. Minimal? They could add more options to it like most dealerships' websites. Anyhow great idea and I can't wait to get my first car with them!"

I don't usually make reviews but I want to share the wonderful experience I've had. Fair made it very easy and was very professional. Levi Martinez from customer support went above and beyond to make sure I had a good experience and took care of me like he was a family member. First time I have ever felt so safe and secure to do business with a company. Thank you so much for making my rental experience the most professional and easy. I joined and gave all my business info. They kept emailing me daily saying I had 7 days to get 50 percent off first order. I tried to place my order on day 6 it showed the 50 off and total wad around $250 before shipping. When I paid it took one each company separate it had me pay for cheapest first an then the rest of the order went to regular price. I feel like they set you up to screw you over. I'll skip this place.

Slow and poor customer service. This app has frozen me out because it falsely assumes I live in an nonparticipating state but I actually do live where it is offered. I have been trying to contact customer service for well over a week. I get this horrible chat system that doesn't keep records. Put a phone number up so customers looking to spend thousands can talk to you! So horrible with the response and delays.

No need for a long back story except to know that Fair has treated me like a friend and John G (Canoga Park) went out of his way to make sure I could not only keep the car I wanted by "re-contracting" but also spent the time to keep me activated on UBER so I could keep working! I went in today a bit early to unhappily turn in my car because I didn't extend the contract (my fault) and left 30 minutes later with the same car and everything I asked for! Thanks John and thanks FAIR!

The payment is always due but you can view it as a reasonable rental car instead of being shackled to Uber and ride sharing. The variety of vehicles available is amazing covering a spectrum of styles and capabilities. From compacts like a Yaris to SUVs for $100 to $160 a week. Hybrids too. Fair might even provide you an Uber ride to pick up your Fair vehicle within reason. In addition their phone and chat support reps are outstanding. They have answers to your questions

I worked with Beverly who was fantastic in her efforts to assist me. I had many questions which she patiently answered them all. She provided a ride for me to pick up my car. Beverly's customer service was top notch in her efforts to make the process as easy as possible for me. I would recommend Fair to my family and friends or to others who are looking to acquire a vehicle through. Fair.

Would have been nice to know ahead of time that it checks your credit score. Your description does not mention it and it is deceptive. I even tried to use it for Uber so I can pay bills since my car is no longer in Uber's Vehicle guidelines. I got denied. Seems like they want to help themselves than others. It's harder for people who were young and messed up there credit and trying to get back on track. I thought I was going to a chance to redeem myself with Fair

I've had the truck for 2 years now! I've paid on time every month! They repo my truck for because they claimed I have over paid tolls fees! I sent in receipts & proof it's paid & they still haven't resolved it! They won't let me get my personal items out of the vehicle. I'm taking them to small claims court & will report them to Better Business Bureau! Apps never works properly & customer service sucks!

I returned my car in May 2020 and have sent several emails trying to get a refund of my overpayment for that month. They keep referring to an audit that's in process as a reason that I haven't received a refund. Now they've stopped responding to my emails. I'm going to file a complaint with the BBB and or take them to small claims court since it appears as though they think I'll just go away. I would never use this company again and will make sure to let people know about their shady business dealings.

I gave this fair location 5 stars due to the customer service that was given to me by Fred. He was very helpful and patient with the skills of multi tasking but getting all questions comments and concerns at the same time. I appreciate the hard word he puts in and the quality of work that was given to me.

I can't say this enough their customer service is at the top of the game. They know what they doing when it comes to that. And as far as the development of the app and how is so intergrade into buying cars you gone this its a movie

I would never use this service again and would strongly recommend against using it. It has been endless frustration at every turn. I have never spent so much time in customer service hell just to get the promised services from a company. Every step of the way - whether vehicle selection

I was hit by a guy who was leading his car through fair. He also had the car insurance that was offered with the fair leasing process. This guy had a previous DWI and was given insurance that was voided if he was driving drunk. I was permanently injured in the wreck and have to pay thousands for my medical bills for the rest of my life. This company gave this guy a car and bogus insurance knowing that he had a previous DWI. DO NOT do business this company.

Fair is the reason why I've been able to have a car in the first place. I loved the company in the beginning because they allowed people like me (who had a huge barrier to entry to own cars because of finances) to have a personal vehicle at a lower cost and commitment. I used to believe that they had a genuine interest in keeping true to this until I saw recently that they hiked start payments from what used to be $1000-$2000 on average to $3000-$5000 on average. Sure

As far as the app goes it works well enough but has very limited search functions. Want leather seats? Navigation? Heated steering wheel? Good luck because you can't search for features beyond make model color and year. There's a dealer search feature but they're in alphabetical order. What is the point of that? How about dealer search by location! Lastly I haven't rented/leased a car from fair but I'm looking to and their program only offers very basic maintenance. Need new brakes? Good luck again

Up until today the customer service from Fair was top notch on my end. I haven't placed my order yet I have been having issues with them accepting my statements. I had been going back and forth since the beginning of January and due to this I was given a $250 discount towards my start up payment. Finally today all documents were accepted and I go to place an order. Being the cheap guy I am I decide hey I have a referral code maybe I can save an extra 100. WRONG the referral code basically removed the discount they applied on my account. When I reached out for help I was told that the 100$ referral was the only discount available even after explaining that it was a courtesy due to the inconvenience of having to wait two months as well as other smaller issues along the way. It's ridiculous that after all this time now you guys refuse to help me. I only didn't 1 star because I did have 2 reps who did an amazing job.

I am happy to say that I received the best service today from the Lawndale office. I was having problems getting my car registration and Nik was so helpful in me receiving it and getting me on the road. Great job!

And doesn't offer basic app or site features. Frustrating. I dislike app A LOT. I did lease a car - process was easy just getting car is u clear delayed lacked key information and now that I want to explore anther car low inventory and difficult to search other cities to check their inventory unless I use my computer and access site. On site not showing me pricing. All around it's a frustrating user experience. I can't stand the app."
