I thought first time I would save the $9 postage and buy from smokersmall.com but after 3 months and nothing I got money back... that took 21 days NOT 15. Anyway I decided to try these people, within a week its here. If customs seized it I could pay the tax thats due and itll still be cheaper. Of corse thats not the case for everything but in my case for what I want its true. What can I say? I will be buying more...

I placed my order Feb, 2023, shipment should be arrived in two weeks as agreed with them, follow up until today unfortunately no cigarettes shipped and they didn't refund my payment! It was not expected from the owner as he promised delivery within two weeks. It's absolutely scam and I consider this is a fraud. I will not stop until I get my refund.

I thought first time I would save the $9 postage and buy from smokersmall.com but after 3 months and nothing I got money back... that took 21 days NOT 15.

Anyway I decided to try these people, within a week its here. If customs seized it I could pay the tax thats due and itll still be cheaper. Of corse thats not the case for everything but in my case for what I want its true.

What can I say? I will be buying more...

Approx 1 week after placing order with Chase credit card a bogus charge was placed
Using that credit card number. Since the card was only used for that one cigarette
Transaction in last 6 months and never left my possession I'm surmising that
Duty Free Depot has some shady people working for them - They have lost my
Business forever!

I have had nothing but a run around from this company and from what research I have done there seems to be quite a fraudulent pattern on their business model. Prompt and correct on first order then the scam process goes into effect. Buyer beware. If anyone can, Please provide actual Company Information if possible i. E. business address, CEO

I found your order as I have found your recent email to our company.

I must say I am surprised and bit shocked to see what you have written.

You ordered 3 times with us with the last order you placed with our company being placed on 5/2/2015. That order was for 3 cartons which were sent and received. In my response to your email, I sent you the registered mail tracking number for the package. You can go to your local post office and have them show you that the package was signed for and delivered over a year ago.

I hope this clears things up.

I had good results with this company for several years and then they disappeared, just like K2 Smokes some years ago. Customer Service number is never answered. BEWARE.

They sent my package which was intercepted by Border Control - advised them and they sent another which was also seized. Tried to get money back and cant! Was told I could spend my points 8700... but givenn that everything is being intercepted thats a waste of time. Ordered a Channel perfume once - looked like Channel but smelt nothing like it! Have been trying to buy something else just to get my entitlement but the site will not accept my points when trying to order. Written loads of emails complining and all I ever get back is the formal reply that someone will get back to me - Never happened! Absolutely crap service! DO NOT use unless you have money to burn!

I sent at least 10 cancellation emails and have not received any responses. I stopped payment on check. Hopefully I won't have any issues with my account because of this order.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE SCAMMERS. YOU WILL GET RIPPED OFF.

They are nothing but SCAMMERS. All these positive reviews must come from those who are IN ON THE SCAM or maybe one-time shoppers. Their tactic seems to be to BAIT AND SWITCH AND STALL FOREVER.

They shipped the first order fine, which consisted of 2 cartons. On the next order, however, they revealed what they are - SCAMMERS. Out of 7 cartons ordered, they only shipped 3 cartons correctly, they replaced the other 2 cartons with cheaper, unknown brand cartons, then simply did not ship the remaining 2 cartons.

When confronted about the wrong items, they only offered a store credit, which is USELESS anyway, unless you are willing to order again. Most importantly, they NEVER ISSUED A REFUND for the 2 missing cartons, just dragging and dragging their feet and stalling with all kinds of RIDICULOUS excuses.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE SCAMMERS. DO NOT LET THEM MAKE MORE MONEY FROM THEIR UNCONSCIONABLE SCAM.

Sofia, I have checked your order 801640 and can see there were some problems with this order. I understand that in this day in age, it's hard to believe what internet companies say. I can tell you we are no fly by night operation. Trust takes time and we here at DutyFreeDepot understand that which is why we invest in our customer service which has brought us many long time customers world wide. Now, you ordered 7 cartons and only received 5 cartons with 2 of the cartons being incorrect. I am sorry to see and hear of the problems you are having with your order. We have tried to assist you with this issue but I can see by the way you are writing that you no longer wish to work with our company. As such, I will have the store credit (which was agreed upon compensation for the 2 incorrect items you received) removed and I will have you refunded for all items you have not received (including the incorrect items). You will receive your refund shortly. Just know we have tried to assist you throughout this problem but, I can see some things that could have been handled differently and I will see what improvements in communication and solutions offered we can make to prevent this kind of issue from happening again. In any case, I am sorry to see and hear about your bad experience and thank you for your feedback. I placed my order on Saturday. On Sunday, they called to confirm the order and say the credit card didn't go thru, why don't I use my checking account. I said I preferred to use my credit card because they offered that option. Said they would try again. This card has a zero balance and the limit is more than sufficient. Again, they said it didn't go thru and why don't I use my checking account--this was after 2 phone calls and emails and over 3 WEEKS later. Why should I be out a few hundred dollars while I wait for an order that quite possibly will never show up. I saw a previous review about a Chase Credit Card. I hope I don't find and suspicious charges on my Chase card.

I'm sorry to hear about the problems you had processing your order payment.

As we charge from overseas and charge discreetly our charges are sometimes blocked by banks and credit card companies that do not recognize that our charge is valid. They do this to protect their customers and that is understandable. In these cases, you can usually just give your bank or credit card company a call and lift the block and the charge will go through.

If problems with charging your card still persist due to reasons our company cannot control like the one mentioned above, we can always attempt to charge a different card or form of payment.

Please note we send emails the second we know that there is a problem with an order (like a declined payment) to keep our customers up to date on the status of their order.

If you send me your order number, I will be able to take a closer look to see what exactly happened and see if we could have handled the situation in a quicker, more stream lined, and more satisfactory way.

I ordered 2 cartons 2 months ago, never received them but they took my money. Then I had a letter from Border Force saying that they had been seized.

Order: ******* placed on March 26 / 2015 - This company is fake and I had few of my friends ordering from this place by mistake, I've learnt it after placing order with them myself! What a big mistake! They took money from my credit card straight away, without any delay! After 21 days had no delivery, nothing!

Tried to contact them with no success for over 7 days, left a feedback on a different website and they called me within an hour or me leaving feedback! I've been told by their representative that I will receive full refund within 5 working days, been 3 weeks since, not a penny! I'm also filing police report for online fraud / scam. This business must be stopped and responsible people must be prosecuted! Police already had many complaints about this and they gathering evidence for further prosecution, so help police and let's stop these scam artists / fraudsters!

I WANT MY REFUND NOW!

They were fine until they added the $9 per carton shipping fee. The salesman on the phone told me that the fee was for express delivery and I would get the package in one week. I always bought 6 or 10 cartons at a time so this added $50-$100 to the total. I said "Fine, send me 6 cartons." After 2 weeks I sent an email asking where my stuff was and they replied that it takes 4-6 weeks to get the order. I told them the salesman said my order was express and should take one week. I told them to cancel my order because I was lied to. They refunded me after a month and then blocked my account. Good riddance to these israeli liars.

Bought from them in may never rcvd product, said they would reship, waited, said would reship again, still waited... you have to wait 21 days between each shipment. Finally said want my money back, they said i could no longer buy from them if i requested money back, i said fine. Finally got refund but it was short. I had asked and only agreed to a refund if it was for original amount plus interest for the months i didnt rcv but was charged. I went back to them and told them not only was the amount i was refunded not the amount i was charged but they also did not pay me the interest that i only agreed to. They said they pd me the correct amount and not only that the case is closed. They dont care about customers or working with you and product is old anyway.

I'm sorry to hear you did not receive your order.

As we are a company that deals with Tobacco and Alcohol products, there may be a bump or two along the shipping process. If your order arrives late (our shipping time frame is 10-28 business days), we will compensate you for the delay accordingly.

This is why we will offer reshipments or agreed upon compensation for missing items. If you want a refund instead of the options previously mentioned, our company policy states any customer that receives a refund will no longer be able to order with our company as refunds hurt our working relationship with our bank.

You decided to get a refund instead of another reshipment or agreed upon compensation.

Lets be realistic, no company ever gives interest on a refund, that would be ridiculous. You are not a bank that loaned us money, you are a consumer who paid for products. It's extremely unfortunate that the items did not arrive and I understand your frustration but again, we always offer a reshipment of the missing items, agreed upon compensation, or a refund. You chose a refund and received all the money back for the missing items as per our terms of use.

Again, I'm sorry that your order did not arrive. We always try our best to get orders to our customers as quickly and trouble free as possible. If that fails as in your case, we have no problem issuing a refund if requested as we did with you.

I'm leaving one star because I can't leave zero if I could I would. I ordered cigarettes from these people they charged me twice, and it took months for me to get my money back. I tried calling them and didn't have any resolution. When I received my cigarettes they were damage, but they chalked it up to the Post office treating the packages roughly, really!? Why don't all my other packages from over-seas come in mangled beyond recognition then? Anyway I paid money to ship the cigarettes back to them for a refund but I'm still waiting months later, and pretty much accepted that I won't get jack. To top everything off I had to change my telephone number because after that horrific experience their sales people contacted me constantly to get me to order again!

They have many similar sites but the company itself is not trust them.
The goods comes from Israel.
They sent me that were in storage and that I had not ordered.
When I asked them changing admitted their mistake but they did not.
So I lost my money.
I have e-mails proving what I write available to any interested party.

You will eventually get a refund after you jump through several hoops. Some people claim they get their order eventually after 2 or 3 reshipments. So I can't honestly call them scammers but they are crooks. Just prodding around researching this site I found a U.S. Government site that has a copy of the Cease and Desist letters they have sent Duty free depot. This order demands that they stop shipping their products to the USA. So, they continue to ship to the USA anyways under the guise that "they can't catch em all." So basically enough orders manage to slip through that they can afford to let a couple cartons get lost and reship them. They don't like to give our refunds, you have to ask several times. They will do absolutely everything they can to force a "reshipment" on you. I'm not sure of the legal implication you the receiver can face due to having products ordered by the federal government to stop entering USPS, but once I discovered this I had to be VERY BLUNT with them about my refusal to accept a reshipment and demanded a refund. Once you get a refund the ban your account claiming it "hurts their working relationship with their bank" I've never heard of a bank that frowns upon making your customers happy and correcting your wrongs. These guys know what they are doing is illegal in the USA and simply do not care. On a busy day your package will make it through customs, but they specifically look for this company and their umbrella companies and will stop them. If you get your order in the states it is because it has slipped by and not something you should get used to. They will resend your package until they are blue in the face and it eventually gets through. So in the states on average, from the revies I've read, you will get your order in 6 months. If you ask for a refund you will be banned and you also may or may not be breaking the law. Good luck and good riddiance.

I'm very excited to be the first to review this site because this can save addicts, like myself, a lot of cash. I used to spend too much money to get my nicotine craving fulfilled until I came across DutyFreeDepot. They got a wonderful selection of high quality cigarettes which are sold dirty cheap with free shipping and I never had any problems with them – if you don't understand something they got a very kind support team that answer all your questions like pros. In short, start saving money with them like I do.

I find DutyFreeDepot to be very cheap without compromising on quality – I smoke only top brand cigars and I just can't find any joy from non-brands or the lousy kind, I need top quality and DFD got it. I also had a few chats with their customer support and they left a good impression on me. So overall, I would recommend them to anyone that smoke and want to save money but still get quality.

I've been using this site for a few months now and I'm happy that I found them. I had a few bad experiences with other tobacco sites that allegedly sell the highest/premium/best quality cigarettes but in reality give you crap. I had no such problems with DutyFreeDepot and their customer service is amazing –very patient and thorough.
