Colonsurgery

My doctor referred me to Houston Colon and Rectal Surgery. That was 3 days ago. They have 4 offices in the Houston area located in Spring, Willowbrook, Humble, and The Woodlands. All locations are served by a central message center. I do not know if it is a 3rd party answering service or just a separate part of their offices. But, be advised that you will NEVER be able to call one of their locations directly. The drill is that you call, listen to a 3 minute spiel (no joke) about their services, locations, etc. and only THEN are you able to enter a message for a live person to take a message for you. You leave name, date of birth, and what you are calling about. At their convenience, their office will call you back. I have tried to contact them for 3 days without success. So, maybe the services provided ARE excellent once you get an appointment and get in front of a doctor. But proceed only if you are OK with the fact that you will never be able to contact any of their offices directly. And if you have a criticial condition that warrants expedient attention, go elsewhere. Because there is a good chance your condition will deteriorate or you will die before you can successfully contact them.
