on 3/22/12Has anyone out there used this website, Webuywatches.com, to sell a watch? I haven't been able to locate any reviews. Very curious.
Seems a little dangerous to me because nobody has ever heard of this site before. Plus where are your buyers coming from? In order to get a higher price you need buyers who trust the website with their money. This is like ebay for watches, but what is wrong with just buying or selling your watch on ebay... or craigslist for that matter. Nice niche concept and maybe it works.
WEBUYWATCHES.COM STAY AWAY, $20,000 ROLEX they offered $3,500. I have tried to get my watch returned x2weeks, no luck.
I just got off the phone with Watchbrokers.com LLC and had agreed to send my gold Rolex to them for sale at a price "that was sure to exceed my expectations". I then checked with the Better Business Bureau and found they had an A- rating as of 01/31/2011. HOWEVER. We Buy Watches.com LLC has the same owner and shares the same 800 number... THEY have an "F" rating due to 34 complaints in the last 36 months! I was told they had been in business for 20+ years when both business entitys were incorporated in 2009
This company should advertise as "WESTEALWATCHES.COM" instead of "webuywatches.com". I sent them my watch to sell for me and that's the last I ever heard from them. It was goodbye watch! They're thieves!
