I was about to sign up and it said to put in my credit card .I thought it was free? How long is trial period? What is the cost after trial?

I have by credit card info to TV duck and they are telling me my password is wrong so I don't know how to cancel. Please help!
How do I actually get the tv shows to download? Every time I try it says to sign up for a free trial, so I did, and it still didn't work!
