If you read all of Helen's response, I'd like to point out there were a couple of phrases that she used that were direct quotes from two emails I got from QuiBids. Which only lead me to believe that Helen is a shill for the company.

That said, I do not believe that QuiBids is a scam. They are a legit business who simply doesn't explain much about anything. If you are going to try their operation, I highly suggest you read ALL their info stuff, FAQs, etc. Then, read them again. Register with them but DO NOT give them ANY credit card info. Go and watch how bids work on various items. Read the the info & FAQs again. Then, and only then, spend the prerequisite $60 and give them a go.

Personally, I compare QuiBids to one of those clutch & grab machines. You know, you spend $37.50 maneuvering this claw only to grab a tiny stuffed unicorn. And you feel SO good because it was on that $0.50 run that got you that stuffy. But, no, I don't believe QuiBids is a scam.

Just save your money. I lost $60 on NOTHING! They should not be allowed to stay in business cheating the public. But it's like P. T. Barnum said "Never give a sucker an even break". Good luck!

Quibids is definitely not a scam. It is the most reputable penny auction site of all of them. I personally have won so many auctions there easily totally over or 4 thousand dollars (I've never added it up). I have won 3 Samsung Smart TVs Kitchen Aid Mixer, a multitude of gift cards for Shell, Home Depot, Lowe's, and Land's End to name a few. Restaurants too. I have also won 2 Cuisinart microwave, convection ovens and 1 of them grills too. The best thing about Quibids is their customer service. They are great and very knowledgeable whether on-line chat or on the telephone. I have also won 2 or 3 sets of Cuisinart hard anodized cookware. 1 for me and 1 for my daughter. Restaurant cards like Outback, Chilis and others. I truly have no hesitation in recommending Quibids to anyone. My biggest tip is to watch some auctions first and see what people do and NEVER go on an auction and hit bid repeatedly. It is not like a regular auction you attend. Get to learn what prices are good for an item you like because sometimes "newbies" bid up a price that you can usually get for less. When you find an item you want to bid on, click on the top of the item on the main screen and you will go to that item only screen. You can see who is bidding and click on their user name and see when they joined. If they have been around for a while they usually know what they are doing and don't over bid. Quibids will never let you bid more than an item is worth either. They will tell you when you are close and ask you if you want to use buy it now. This option lets you buy the item at the retail shown minus the amount you have already spent on the auction so you won't lose out. You can also use Buy It Now at any time during an auction if you really want it and don't want to buy any more bids and still get what you have used in bids off the retail price. This is only good for bids you purchased, not voucher bids from an auction you won. The biggest thing to me about Quibids is they Do Not inflate retail prices on items. There is another site, DealDash that is awful about doing that. You think you are saving so much and you aren't. Though that site is not a scam their practice of doing this upsets me. I have caught them many times and called them on it. They said it was an error and would be corrected. Makes me wonder what else they do. Though they corrected the retail on the items I caught it made me check every auction before I would bid on it. Though Quibids charges $. 60 a bid to purchase bids I usually buy bids if I need to and then go to the main auction screen and bid on voucher bids since my bids I use hae value and I can take the price off and buy now. I set my preferences to use voucher bids first too. I am sure this is more than you ever wanted to know, but I hope it helps and you use and enjoy Quibids.
