I paid about $2 for a one time thing. Then I see a random charge of over $40 on my bank statement. I have called and have yet to get an answer and have sent two emails with no reply. I have not cancelled my account because I have read where other in this situation cancelled and asked for their money back and the company refuses because of the cancellation or they claim that they do not see the cancellation. As a college student, I cannot afford for that much money to be withdrawn from my account like this ever month. I'm barely scraping by as it is. This is very frustrating. Can SOMEONE help me and the others of us who have fallen victim to this company's scheme?

Call your credit card fraud department. That's what I did. They did a three way call with the company. When we got them on the phone, we cancelled. The gentleman from my CC asked them for a cancellation number. They did eventually refund me a portion of the money. Also, even though I had cancelled on the 10th, they only pro-rated the refund from the date I called with the CC company. At that point I took what they gave me. Horrible company. I can't believe what schemers and scammers they are!

Hi Ashley,

Login to your liveCareer account settings and select (Subscription tab) and cancel the Subscription 1st. Then call to your credit card customer care and block it and apply for new CC.

Write a letter to customerservice@livecareer.com for requesting money refund Anna. B will help you to get the amount back.

Let me know if you have any other concern.

Thanks,
Nithya

This seems to be the way this Company works. You sign up for a trial they make impossible to contact and cancel they then bill your card and say you didn't cancel in time. They have refused to give my money back. They are a bunch of fraudsters.
