Question:

Why is it listia does not stand behind it's trusted sellers? i left listia a year ago; i worked hard to gain their trusted seller status, i mailed all my auctioned items the day after the auctions ended and my items go for a lot of credits. but then i got scrupulous bidders who wanted more for the items they bid so highly for. listia gave them their credits back because i did not use tracking. i have won many things on listia and unless it was big enough to require a box, nothing i ever won came with tracking. so i feel that when people feel they bid too much for my items they claimed they didn't receive them which left me wither the credits and the items i auctioned. but i like the concept of listia, so i came back this year and now am being faced with the same thing, unscrupulous people claiming they didn't get their item and listia siding with them, giving them their credits back, despite the fact that when a large number of bidders didn't acknowledge getting their items i notified listia of the same. and they gave me the same excuse, the bidder got their credits back because i didn't use tracking. listia recommends but does not require it and if you list as many auctions as i do it is much to costly to use tracking. which defeats the purpose, i joined listia to get things for my granddaughter that i could not afford to buy.

Answer:

Stacy L Some sellers can even display they really sent mail, they take digital photo when they send mail. They can even show out. But because listia recoginze tracking code. Even if you can even display the mail and correct address correct person, showing u had really sent mail, because no tracking code. Listia would still return all credit back to buyer.

Question:

Answer:

Jackie R Your friend only buy item from your username, and NOT buying from others. It's a kind of dishonesty, and a fraud in listia. Even if 2 are diff people because that person only buys your username things, and nobody else so yes you both will be suspended.

Question:

Do you get paid in cash on your auctions when you list on listia:

Answer:

Listia is an online marketplace where you win other people's stuff using credits instead of money. All users on our site act as both a Buyer and Seller. If you are bidding on items you want from our site, you are considered a Buyer. If you are giving away items on our site, you are considered a Seller :)

Question:

Hi, does anybody know if the 'credits' are representing cash? i watched a youtube video and this girl told me that she made quite a bit of money off of listia. i am logged on and don't see anything about money.

Answer:

They don't deal in cash, unless you want to buy listia credits. That being said, you can make some bank if you have a good product by what credits you make on it. Then, you could use those credits to bid on gift cards and more pricey stuff that has actual value. I use the site for hard to find seeds, and it has been good for me. As for making money? Not so easy to see a real profit.

Question:

How do i get my percentage rating up a point so i can get my sellers wings?

Answer:

The rules say 5 completed auctions all with positive feedback, and if you have had a negative feedback before that then you have to get your % above 90 % feedback to get them.

Question:

Are we allowed to use website links on on item lists

Answer:

I don't know. I have never tried and won't. Listia is garbage. Try Etsy or EBay. Even with little items, it costs very little to list items(20 cents) and they take 10% of your sale price. I list in both locations and eBay has an amazing 'buyer gets what they ordered or they get their money back' policy. Check it out.

Question:

I have had several people who have won an auction and they are not providing me with a listia verified address! what do i do?

Answer:

Dont ship LISTIA IS THE WORST SITE I HAVE EVER USED. The rules state you are allowed 3 accounts per house hold my son who doesnt live with me opened one my daughter who doesn't live with me opened one and I opened one no where on earth would this be considered 3 accounts in one household but when I had over 5oooo points and my daughter had nearly 9500 and my son had 15000 all three accounts were suspended in the same day stating we had multiple accounts when I asked them to show me my supposed other account they brought up my son's account and my daughters account when they provided proof that they lived in other towns the accounts were reinstated but with no points. Then a few months later the same thing happened. I spent a total of over $500 shipping free items and lost the points 2x and lost the items and money... site is a huge scam
