Why are they billing when all cost is covered by medicare and secondary insurance bc/bs? does medicare knows about this companies performance?

Answer:

Yes, Lincare is fraudulent. I finally sent a letter to my Medicare Advantage and also Medicare. The only way to stop this company is to take action. All of our rants and raves are exactly that, rants and raves. Please talk to your insurance company and medicare provider. This company needs to not be in business, especially with such vulnerable customers who depend on them. WA state

Something positive? Okay, let me see. There was this one time that... No, sorry. Alright, I've got it! Yes, there was this other time... Whoops! They kinda screwed up that time, too. Bottom line: sleazeball operation. Should be run out of town, state, country. There has to be another source of oxygen products. I'd start looking under "Medical Supplies" or "Welding Supplies."

How often should a concertrator for home use be cleaned and how? i tried vacuum and cleaner in vents but not sure

Answer:

DONNA, I REPLACE THE FILTER BY ASKING MY SUPPLIER, THEY USUALLY ARE VERY ACCOMADATING AND GIVE ME ONE. LINCARE, NORCO, AND SUPPLIER WILL REPLACE IT. I ALWAYS CLEAN THE VENTS MYSELF, BUT I LET THE COMPANY REPLACE IT.

How can they still be in business! with such disgusting revues. it's not about caring for people, it's all about money. do you sleep well ?

Answer:

Really? Then ask someone why I tried for over 3 weeks to get a new c-pap mask and hose from the HOME office in Florida and it never showed up! I'm not indigent like some of your customers, I don't accept incompetence. My sleep clinic simply changed me to a new supplier and I am now very, very happy with them.

So i recently got a c-pap machine for my husband. we recieved it after 3 weeks of me calling the office. we get the machine and learn how to use the machine and leave the office. starting on sunday we start getting calls that we have to pay our bill asap. however we never recieved a bill. i will more than happy pay what is owed in a timely manner to the best of our abiltiy however is it common practice to get harrassed even before we get a bill?

Answer:

Medicare pays 80%. If the patient does not have a secondary insurance then they are responsible for the other 20%. Normally with a cpap its a 1e month rent to own. It converts to purchase after that. Also, if the medicare deductible hasnt been met you could get a bill for that.

I would like to be able to access the past year of billing and payments. i have recently been able to pay my bill on line but would like to be able to get my billing and payment history.

Answer:

Good luck with this company. The first thing you should do is take Lincare off auto pay. They can't even explain their bills. Look at this company's Google reviews and run as fast as you can to another medical supply company.
