Read the specifications of the items. A lot of the furniture has wood veneers not solid wood, hence the cheaper prices. I purchased 2 chairs for $600 a piece. If I had seen them in a store, I probably won't have purchased them. I didn't want the hassle of taking them apart and repackaging for return. I can live with them, but don't love them. I have ordered many things from them and all have more than met with my high expectations... The way it is packaged is excellent too! Try it and if you don't like it just return it. So save the packing material for several days until you make up your mind to keep it! It is quality product and fair price compared to the ' box stores'

My guideline for buying anything online: Find it in another online store and read the reviews. If there are no reviews, don't risk it. This is just what I do since I too have been very disappointed with online purchases in the past.

I won't get furniture again with them-three times the furniture arrived damaged and the returns didn't go easily. On the last piece of furniture, they sent me a replacement, and I kept the other piece, because it was a storage unit, and the damage, though visible, didn't matter because its not in view. I thought the stuff didn't look as good as in the photo. I do think if you know something you want and have already seen it somewhere else, and its a good price on Joss and Main, then get it.

The dresser I got is beautiful. I'm very particular and I had recently moved into a new home wroth no built ins and needed drawers immediately. I took a rusk and have been extremely happy. Looks just like the photo and fits in with my much more expensive furniture.

They have lost 2 of my items on 2 separate occasions. Decent things for the price. You get what you pay for. I am now ordering from a different site.

Most of the décor is made in china.
Have not purchased much furniture. I suggest that you give it a try.
You can always return it.

I have ordered several items from Joss & Main and have been completely satisfied with the quality. I share your concerns about ordering on-line, but so far I have not been burned by lack of quality from Joss & Main.

Hi Leslie, Myself also. I have ordered a few items, including chairs, tables, accent pieces, candle holders etc. and everything was as pictured it not better. You should be ok. And as Ruth mentioned you need to make a purchase within the time the event is open.

Everything that I have ordered so far has been excellent. One time, the item just didn't quite look great in my bedroom. I returned it no questions asked for a full credit. Nether even paid the postage. I could have returned it for a full refund but I would had to pay the postage. In any event, very flexible on returns, which, as I say, has only happened once.

I am extremely satisfied with the bedding products purchased from Josh and Main. We purchased a summer cover that provides the right amount of comfort, is soft, yet durable. The cover is reversible which allows for various decor choices. Add to that that it was a good value. You can't go wrong. Hope this helps.

I've ordered a wide variety of products from them over the last 3 years. I'm very happy with their products... almost always, that is. If something is wrong... they make it right. If you return a product they'll pay for shipping if you accept a credit voucher. Or, you pay return cost of $15 and get your money back. Very fair. Also, if you purchase a product and you pay shipping... you get free shipping for 30 days free. Very nice. J&M is my favorite on-line store. Good prices, too.

Hi Leslie, I had the same thought. I went ahead and order the item and it looks exactly as the picture. The dimensions and colors were as they appeared on the picture. I suggest you use the tool offered to enlarge and look at the item closely. It is very helpful in making your decision. You'll be happy you ordered. Just dont wait too long, it may not be there the next time you look for it.
