Hi Wendy P. There should be a stamp on the ring. The stamp is generally very small and sometimes hard to see.

Real gold has a real stamp. Also. Silver, has a stamp. Please, tell me jtv's gold has a stamp on it. I feel it has to have it, that is, if it is, genuine. Good luck.
