I am confused... some reviews are very positive. Some say iyogi is a scam
I understand not all reviews would be positive, but there is a big difference between negative e experience and scam. Any reports of being hacked by iyogi or identity theft

Hi Robbie, we agree with Linnell and recommended the evaluation of multiple service providers. Pay-as-you-go support services and subscription support services each have their own merit, and must be evaluated based on your need and your budget. To verify the authenticity of reviews posted online you can visit review sites that verify whether the reviewer is actually a bon-a-fide customer of any service or company. Websites which we know of that verify the authenticity of the reviewer are www.consumeraffairs.com, www.sitejabber.com, www.trustpilot.com, and the BBB. IYogi is an independent provider of consumer technology services with 2.5 million users across 10 countries. We have a BBB rating of A and are accredited. We are based out of New York and we have call centers based out of India. If you would like more information on our products and services you can visit www.iyogi.com. If you would like to read about iYogi in the news, then visit http://www.iyogi.com/news/latest-news. We hope you will consider trying our services.

Over 3 months ago I ordered some things from iYogi for my computer and have never received them. I was able to contact them several times the first 2 months and was told my products are on their way. I didn't believe them but what could I do? Now I cant even contact them. They don't answer the phone and the chats don't work. RIP OFF! Going to call my credit card company and try to recover some money.

Robbie, first of all iYogi is NOT a scam, BUT "buyer beware"! Written reviews are tend to be "negative", because the person was "ticked". I used iYogi several times during the past year, with a mixed experience. I did not like their "pushy" approach to additional sales and long term commitments. Also, the time spent on-line and on the telephone was grueling. Thu, I like to do business with someone I can meet in person, then use their remote repair. Simply, you will be better served by doing your homework to locate a local qualified computer technical company or person for your service. Entertain three (3) or more options and demand three (3) or more references. Check them out! "Pay as you go" until you are comfortable. Remember, building trusted relationships are key with any business situation. Good luck!
