How secure is my bank information? If there are fraudulent dealings going on in ones account how does Dwolla handle that?

How secure is my banking info?
I don't feel safe giving you my personal banking ID and password. I haven't given that to any other internet banking service. I just give my routing and account number, then maybe you do a test (like depositing some small amount under 1.00 and asking me to tell you what that amount was).
How do I know my information will not be stored?
I gave them my information and then decided not to use the company to make my payment. Last night I saw on the news that the company was being fined for poor security. What should I do about the sensitive information that I gave them?
