I get emails from ?chess.com (that is a question mark in front of chess.com). Are they actually from chess.com or are they fake?

How do you (the admin/moderator/etc.) recognize that someone is cheating, or is it just a hunch with no proof?
Too many players between 600 - 900 leaving games to abort, timeout, or using vacation to avoid playing. Has jumped manyfold in the last month.

Very unimpressed. Also concerned I'll be charged another for another month's subscription which I don't want.
