There are good and bad CDMA and GSM networks, but there are key differences between the technologies... It's much easier to swap phones on GSM networks, because GSM carriers put customer information on a removable SIM card. Take the card out, put it in a different phone, and the new phone now has your number.
I'm guessing Refurbished and Used just by reading the reviews and the lack of answers. If a company can demand retraction of a review or threaten harassing emails to one's place of business, then they should be able to answer the most simple of questions. So, guaranteed new? Certified Used? Warrantee eligible Reconditioned?
There's something fishy about this web based cell phone company. My phone came used as well, and they never ship me the missing part of it, which is the S pen. When I call the guy is willing to spend hours arguing with me over the phone, telling me the company will take me to court because I write reviews about them online. Thank God my phone is working well for now, but I don't have manufacturer's one year warranty and I had to pay ordering the S pen through Amazon. Good luck man!
