After reading all the comments about this site I will not sign on too this scam I am glad I read all the comments wont be getting any of my money WOW this is unbelievable.

I agree with everything that has been said about amolatina in very respect... I found a way to circumvent the security a couple of time and ended up getting the ladies personal emails and began chatting. I have visited Colombia since 1994 and continue to travel especially to Medellin... I have hooked up with these ladies in the past and continue with one as of today (going on a year & 1/2)... I have since rented an apartment in Medellin to serve my purpose and a place to stay... yes I to have spent money on this site in the past but I learned from the ladies the insite on amolatina and everything you see and hear is absolutely true the biggest scam going... my only advice gentlemen is forget the sites and travel to any city in Colombia and visit the clubs/bars I know for a fact you will find nice ladies too get together while you visit... my recommendation is Medellin and Cali... on a serious note you will not hook up with anyone on the site unless you are able to get past amolatina security and secure personal data... video is a way also to verify if the lady is for real... anyway enough... good luck gents...

I wrote a review 4/24/2014 if you care to read it. I was in the middle of some very unsatisfying correspondence with a lady on AmoLatina and a couple of months later ended the letters and chatting. I am not sure I was even communicating with her directly each time. Anyway, here is my take-away based on my experience and also the many reviews I've read here and other places: If you want to travel to Colombia, meet women, party and get laid then clearly AmoLatina is for you -- IF you can truly afford that. I am sincere in saying that because it is clear many men use it for htat with a lot of success.
However, if you are looking for a serious relationship – a marriage - this is doing it the hard way. So you think Colombian women are hot? You need to get past the superficiality of that and consider how much of a RELATIONSHIP you can develop with someone who does not speak your language and lives in a foreign country. Don't kid yourself -- you pick someone you think you want a marriage with based on their photo because let's face it; the profiles are pretty much alike. I know some men have met their "match" on AmoLatina and we've seen their testimonials about how a guy met his dream girl and they got married last spring. I guarantee you these same guys will be not coming back to the website a few years later to tell us how much the marriage sucks or it ended because she thinks he is too damn old and they have nothing in common. Yeah -- I am sure a few get lucky, but the odds are not good. I simply don't understand how an American man can believe he will have a GREATER chance of meeting a woman he is highly compatible with on a foreign dating site versus one in his own country. Sure, some do but I do not believe the odds are good – when you see a website testimonial from five years ago, you have to wonder. I do not doubt a much younger, attractive woman will be with a man who is financially stable in a more affluent country as long as he is tolerable to be with. I can accept a woman who has not had much, either in material things or a reliable man, will feel lucky to get an American guy like me -- but for me at least, that is NOT something to base a marriage on. Amolatina is a fun site... but be prepared. It's like going to the carnival or to the casino... you walk in with money in your pocket, you have a good time, you believe you will be the big winner, but in the end, you walk out the same single person with less money in your pocket. The girls are real and you probably can form a real relationship with some of the less beautiful women but the "poster girls" are not really interested in you or in leaving their country.
