Booked a room with this site that appeared to be a Hampton Inn website for $112.00 and after booking receipt payment showed an extra $48.00 for taxes recovery charges service fees. Usually taxes are only 12 percent California. I assumed the rest was for security. And then when we checked in the hotel. The hotel told us this was booked through a third party and had to give them additional $50.00 for security. This booking site is very deceitful get a room.com. Completely thought we were dealing with hotel. This is such a scam with hidden fees. I highly don't recommend using this company. This was very misleading, we will be disputing this with our credit card company.
