I entered into a trial membership with AdvisoryCloud.com and, after an "Onboarding session" with Liz Avila on December 14th, I expressed my inability to evaluate and continue the trial due to year-end commitments. Despite wanting to cancel, I was assured I had until December 22nd to decide.
On the 22nd, when attempting to cancel, I discovered a discrepancy in the information provided. Although told I had until the 22nd, I had until a specific time on that day to cancel. Trixia, after a lengthy conversation, assured me that my 1-month trial would be converted to a 3-month trial, extending through February 22nd.
On January 19th, I found I was billed $195 for the membership. Support claimed I had "admitted" to failing to cancel, contradicting the understanding from my conversation with Trixia.
Throughout interactions, canceling the trial membership proved difficult, suggesting the company prioritizes revenue over transparency. Conflicting statements and an unwillingness to cancel the trial have left me frustrated and disappointed I had not researched this company adequately.
