I reached out to this online computer tech company to solve an issue with an old computer that I had that I was trying to login to. I had forgotten my password because it had been years since I had used it. I chatted with a tech and he called himself David. He asked for my phone number and called me and asked if I had another computer that I could log onto. So I logged onto my computer and he asked for permission to take over my computer and I said, "Yes". He sent me a link and told me to click on it and it downloaded. Then he took over my computer and told me how much it was going to cost. He asked for the payment up front without even fixing my old computer. I put in my credit card info and clicked on pay but the payment was declined. He said to try it again but the same thing happened. He told me to call my bank and I did. I had plenty of funds in the bank to cover the transaction so the agent told me that it was declined because it was considered a risky business. I hung up the phone and told him what she said and he told me to use another card. I told him that I did not have another card. He said to call the bank again and see if they would approve the transaction. I called the bank again and this time I was told that the transaction was not approved because the country was a sanctioned country. I asked her what country it was and she said, Sri Lanka. I told her that he had taken over my computer and she said that my account may be in jeopardy because he could see all of my credit card info. I told him that they would not approve the transaction and I closed the chat window. After I closed the website I noticed that there was an app from 24/7 Techies on my computer. I quickly deleted it and then I called the bank back and cancelled my card because I got worried that he might try to use my card for charges. I remember him asking if I had any info in my email from my bank. I definitely think that he was was planning on stealing money from my bank account. I don't know if all of the techs that work for this company are shady characters but he definitely was. I recommend taking your computer to a BBB accredited local shop.

Tip for consumers:
I don't recommend this company. Try to find a local computer repair store to take your computer to.

Last spring, I ordered some tops and I kept all of them but one, it was way too big. So, I filled out the return form and I asked for an exchange for another top and I put the item number on the form for the exchange and I mailed it back to J Jill. Well, they never sent the exchange that I had requested and when I contacted them, they said that they had no record of ever receiving the package. She said to wait a couple more weeks and see if it would come into their warehouse. I waited a couple of weeks then contacted them again and they told me they still hadn't received it. I am disgusted with their terrible customer service.

Products used:
Tops and handbag.
