I just had my own share of frustrating experience with testingmom.com about the unethically forced auto renewal and their refusal for offering refund when being caught in this act. I just realized that I am just one of their many victims for this deceptive business practice. If they cannot honor their integrity, how can consumer trust their teaching material. Stay away from this company. Be aware.
TestingMom could do better when the parents sign up the membership by offering different options, such as:
(1) only one or two or three months,
(2) only one or two or three or four quarters,
(3) autonew by month or quarter,
Instead of only the unethically forced auto renewal.
This is very easy to implement in the webpage. Furthermore, testingmom never send you a billing information by mail or email every month to let you know about the transaction. They just keep charging your credit card account silently. The unethically testingmom company intends to choose forced auto renewal and not sending the monthly billing for purpose: gaining as much money as possible from the parents.
I think we can file a class lawsuit to testingmom and let the social media to know their unethical and deceptive business practice.
