The Academy Sports says they give a military discount. They only give a discount when they want to. Other stores give a discount on the other products all the time except for ammo and guns Academy Sports dishonors the military by only given discounts part-time. They shouldn't even give a discount at all if they're only going to give it part-time I've discussed this at length with them.
Tip for consumers:
I ended up not buying a Savage Legend 350 because I saved $100 by buying it from the competition Smoky Mountain guns in Tennessee with taxes and shipping and transfer fees I still saved money
