After ordering a toy for my grandson, I realized it was not in his age range after looking at the appropriate ages online again. I never opened the box – it was in its original packaging and sealed well. I requested a refund fully understanding I would have to pay the shipping costs. Several days later I received an email saying they were giving me a gift certificate because according to them, the toy had not been packaged properly, which again I never even opened. When I called the representative to see why I had not received my refund she told me her notes said the box was flimsy and the toy 'was destroyed'. I have no control over what UPS does with their packages during deliveries and the box was very sturdy. I believe this is a tactic/scam that Fat Brain uses so they can keep the money and it's their word against the consumers. Please be wary of this company – I will not be using them again, knowing they are taking advantage of their customers. Rebecca M.
