I initially went through a bulk quote site and while it made getting quotes faster I wouldn't do that again. I started off with Nexxus because during one of my first initial calls I was told we will pick up your car 7/27 or 7/28 and have it delivered by 8/1. The route from Seattle area to Houston area usually takes 5 days. For me this schedule worked great, as I was leaving town on 8/3 and left a day for any sort of issues. I contact the shop where the car is being stored and let them know of the pick up dates. 7/29 rolls around and the car still hasn't been picked up. I call and explain again I will not be in town and we need to move the date to 8/12 or later as I will not be in town and will be driving back myself. I setup the new pickup date and drop off drop with the rep over the phone assured of the original quote. While out of town I Get a call and say hey we can deliver the car on a date while I'm out of town and the price will go up 500 dollars or so. I for lack of better words was pissed. You haven't made any of your commitments to me as a customer and now you want to charge me more, I don't think so. I told the rep to cancel the order completely and I will find another company. Later that day I get a call back and say we have found another company and we will ship our fee over to the driver. We will have the car picked up and delivered on the days you have requested. So I was actually a bit shocked, when the second part of this transaction went to plan. I feel if I hadn't stood my ground with their failings to me as a customer they would have gladly charged me the extra money and made out like a bandit honestly.
