Short story. The reviews below are not a hoax. This company is hoax. I paid my deposit to hold a home which was given to someone else. I located a 2nd home which I was scheduled to move into on 7/25/20 however the dates kept moving due to "Construction". I drove pass this home on 3 separate occasions and no construction could be seen or heard at this residence. The date was moved from 7/25,7/28,8/4 then back to 7/31/20. I place calls several time a day requesting to speak to a Manager but no one responded. I even sent messages through the messenger portal on facebook. Everyone I spoke to stated that they were escalating my call to a manager but I am yet to hear back from a manager. I finally moved into the home and to my dismay the shower faucet head was still missing. I cannot take a shower in my bathroom because there is no faucet handle to turn on the shower. The house was never cleaned, the dishwasher racks are broken so you cannot load dishes. The water would not drain out. The kitchen sink is leaking so you cannot turn on the water to wash dishes. My first day in this home is already a disaster. I contacted the number sent to me in my welcome email to place a work order. The first available day to have a plumber come out to fix the sink, dishwasher and bathroom is 8/19/20. Then they send out an email and one of the paragraphs reads as follows:
Per your lease:
Damages caused by abuse or misuse of any component at the property will be charged to the Resident. We will rely upon the service contractor to inform us as to the cause of the problem. A list of common requests that result in resident charges include: clogged drains, clogged toilets, clogged disposal, dirty AC filters, AC thermostats with dead batteries, light bulb replacements (under 8ft), rekeys. Expect the minimum cost to be $100.00. The resident should do everything they can to handle these issues to prevent potential charges. Any repair related to a property defect such as roots in the sewer, a filled septic tank, or collapsed sewer pipe will not be assessed to the resident ledger.
How can you be held accountable for something that you met on the 1st day you moved into a home.
This company is all about money. Their agents are rude, and their customer service is horrible.
