I had registered for PetSitter.com this past Thursday April 8th, 2021. I am simply looking for a part time job as a pet sitter. I live in Brooklyn, New York. To try to make a very long story short; I am now on it for three months. It ends in July. I paid $59.00. I responded to a man who needed pet sitting for his parrot Birdy. So I messaged him. He responded. Says, I sounded great. I call him on TeleSafe off their website. Because I was not going to give out my personal number to him. I received off that phone call, a man's voice saying hello, then turned into a woman's voice asking the most ridiculous questions, and talking over me and I couldn't get a word in edgewise. I also called the next day and got a man's voice with constant coughing and coughing. I messaged this schmuck, and he got back to me with a message. Oh, I am so sorry that happened. I called that number again. And then found out it repeated what I had just heard. It was a recording. I went back and forth with this guy, messaging. And said I refused to be scammed. I reported this Allen Hirsch to petsitter.com'*******@careguide. They got back to me in an email and told me this guy was a SCAMMER. They don't refund your money. They are $#*! to do that. So since, the money cannot be refunded; I will stay on it till it runs out. I already unsubscribed. Has anyone else dealt with this bull$#*! on petsitter.com They are based in Canada, and they don't do background checks on this "PEOPLE." Not to mention the aggravation, and frustration and irritation, and energy expended on this. I am simply trying to find a part time job. And I was put through the ringer.
