I hope that someone learns from my experience. Do not use this website or any of their Breeders. I purchased a 9 week old cockapoo. The breeders paperwork from her vet signed off as healthy and normal in all aspects, including oral cavity and legs/gait. I took him to my vet, who immediately noted an underbite and bow hind legs. My vet issued Unfit for Purchase certificate.
I presented all of this to the Good Dog Care Team Manager. She said the breeders vet said the puppy was fine. So, the congenital defects just happened in 4 days. I had the puppy sent from AR, over 1,300 miles away. I can return him, at my expense and hope that I get reimbursed. The horrible breeder, *, at PineHavenDoodles still has puppies listed on GoodDog site. They haven't even removed her. Statement from GoodDog is that the Breeder meets their standards. Apparently they have no standards.
I can't believe I fell for this.
Please listen to all the reviews unless you want nothing but heartbreak for the future.
Hi Marie,
Thank you for reaching out. We’re glad that our team has been able to work with you through this issue and communicate with the breeder on your behalf over the past few days
We understand that the breeder has offered you a full refund of your dog payments, as well as additional funds that can be used towards transportation costs of getting the pup back to the breeder.
As our team shared with you, we take enforcement of our standards incredibly seriously and have a process in place in which we conduct an independent investigation of all complaints in order to ensure that our standards are enforced consistently and fairly. In line with this process, our team reviewed all documentation provided and determined that the breeder is in compliance with our Community Standards at this time.
We hope this answers your remaining questions, and wish you nothing but the best.
