I made the mistake of joining this platform and being locked into a 12 month contract! I think it is terrible that they do not offer a 3 month lock in and to see how you go and then you are able to go month to month.

As a make up artist I had maybe 10 enquiries in the whole year and not one make up job. I spent over $700 for nothing. I then go to cancel my contract a few days before the 12 month is up and I was told that I actually have to cancel a month in advance and that I will have to pay an extra month because they cannot just cancel it. There are so many other make up artist on this site it is ridiculous!

Never will I use easy weddings again, and so know several make up artists musicians who said I was stupid to join easy weddings in the first place!

You are correct we ask for a 12-month agreement. We do this as the buying cycle of couples is often over a 12 month period, and your listing can be "saved as a favourite supplier" by couples wanting your Make-Up services. It also gives us time to work with you to help you grow your business. In your case, it appears you went to the lowest level of advertising, and you received over 10 enquiries.
